Here's Lansdowne Road Irish Tavern at #SurfersParadise on the #GoldCoast.
I knocked back a few Chivas at this pub, one of a number of Irish-themed pubs in party central.
What I loved most about this pub was the amazing mural. Who are the players?

#PubCrawl: So what do you do when you finish a 12 kilometre fun run? Head to the pub, of course.
The Stamford Grand Adelaide is located in prime position on the Glenelg foreshore, making it one of the best spots for a beer in Adelaide.

#PubCrawl: The House of Brews in Surfers Paradise is craft beer heaven.
Located right in the midst of party central in Orchid Avenue, it's got a massive wall of beer taps.
The staff know their brews too, somehow convincing me to buy a $35 #beer (oh well, it was holiday).

#PubCrawl: Helm Bar Surfers has closed since I visited in August.
It was late when I got in for a nightcap, but this nautical-themed pub looked a good place for a few beers, particularly if you like sport.
Overlooks Nerang River and Chevron Island. Too good a spot to stay closed

#PubCrawl: I spent the night at the #Barmera Hotel Motel.
My mate described The Oasis Room as one of the Riverland's best-kept secrets.
Built in 1932, this hotel is not far from beautiful Lake Bonney.
It's rumoured there are ghosts, but I didn't catch any. Maybe next time.

#PubCrawl: With fire spurting out of signage and cool sculptures, this #SurfersParadise bar is iconic. We visited Steampunk during a recent GC trip. A band played Boomer rock the night I was there, but there's more up to date stuff other nights.

#PubCrawl: The last post from my recent Queensland adventure is the Pacific Pines Tavern.
A relatively new suburban pub with a design that allows you to enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast weather. The meals were standard pub fare and the service friendly, with a great sports bar.

#PubCrawl: @hotel_metro is a true Adelaide pub stayer.
I love this pub, built in 1883 it's next to Her Majesty's Theatre and opposite the Central Markets.
It has character and is a great band venue.

#PubCrawl: I regularly drive past this old pub in Adelaide yesterday and thought I'd stop for a look.
The Squatters Arms, Thebarton, has been closed for a couple of years but was very popular on the music scene.
I hear it may be in line for a revamp. Unsure how true.

#PubCrawl: The Bombay Bicycle Club is an Indian-Raj themed pub in Ovingham.
It lives up to its theme, which it took on 2002, with real attitude - bikes on the ceiling, monkey head bar taps, tigers and British-era Indian ephemera.

PubCrawl: Stopped at Ian's Western Hotel, Port Augusta, on Friday arvo. Spotted this bargain for $5. Took will power not to buy it. Ohhh, the teen memories. Scarring.

Didn't get to stop in the pub this time, sadly. A rare pub named after an individual. Who is Ian?

PubCrawl: I recently stayed at #Whyalla's Sundowner. Opened in the 1960s, the Sundowner's first name was the Shandon Motor, changing in the 70s.
I enjoyed my double parmi combo - my waist didn't.
Among the group I was with was ex @SturtFC star Peter Motley - a real privilege.

#PubCrawl: The Lakeview in Lochiel was burnt down in 2014, a year after celebrating its 150th birthday.
It opened in 1863 as the Travellers' Home. It overlooks Lake Bumbunga and, sadly, it looks like it is now lost forever, given its current state.

#PubCrawl: I visited the @FlindersRest Hotel at Warnertown in early March, but sadly it's closed and seemingly up for sale.
On the edge of the Flinders Ranges, the pub's most recent owners took over in 2017, from what I can gather. In 2014 it celebrated its centenary.
