So I think I've come up with a fan fiction theory that combines @Zendaya roles from "Shake It Up" and "Euphoria"

(I left out KC undercover because she's the same age there and in Euphoria.)

So, in middle school Rocky Blue lived with her brother Ty Blue, mother and father in Chicago. Of course she had her best friend Cece and their family. She was also pursing a successful career at Shake It Up Chicago.

Basically her life was normal and her future promising.

During the summer before she started high school, Ty and her mother got into a fatal accident and passed away on sight.

Rocky and her father were left alone for the first time in their lives. The depression got to them and they quickly decided to move to another city and start a new life. Rocky was reluctant especially because it would disconnect her from Cece but she didn't have any say.

Rocky and her father moved and began a new relationship which strengthened their bond as father and daughter and ultimately aided in their healing.

Not to long after, Rocky's dad reconnected with an old friend. She was a single mother with a daughter that was a couple years younger than Rocky.

Both girls bonded quickly and were accepting of their parents relationship. The parents saw this and married soon after

The new family changed their last name but Rocky and her father still wanted to maintain "Blue". Besides, some people still called them "Blue".

So.......
-He was Blue
-She was Rue

Rue's father got sick and naturally, she was the one closest to him.

She was extremely determined to help him get better because she knew she'd be alone if anything happened to him.

Rue's father got a lot worse as time passed. She started to relive the feelings of losing her mother and brother. Unable to cope with the emotions, she started experimenting with drugs to numb it out.

By the time her father passed, Rue was so far gone and completely overwhelmed by everything that had happened into her.

Thus, Euphoria was born!
