I have no real desire to get into a twitter debate.The context of his lecture was that as people who study the Scriptures we need different lenses in which we study than just with the predispositions that we individually bring to the text.
The responses (and interpretations) on this one tweet is example of need for this, as well as a reminding of what it means to dialogue as Christian brothers AND sisters with both grace and humility.
