K*ll This Love by BlackPink has a very deep meaning, the way the lyrics were put together and how the MV portrayed the lyrics is quiet impressive, but it turns out not alot of people seem to know about the meaning of it and only think of it as a bop: A THEORY
before i start, i want to thank @fxke_us for helping me, the credit goes to her as well.
When you look at the lyrics, we immediately get the idea of the girls being sick of this love -toxic- love, and are fed up with themselves for being the "slave" to their own emotions and feelings. They want it all to end, and the only way is to k*ll themselves.
I'll explain with the help of lyrics, mv scenes and all the reference of greek mythology.
The MV starts with trumpets, known as En Chamade trumpets. According to Wikipedia, these trumpets were used to address the enemy. The trumpets were usually used to gather forces, and we see the girls, standing confidently infront of the trumpets - gathering up forces for the war.
To further support my logic of "war" ,,, the trumpets have blackpink flags on it. When a trumpet has a flag on it, it is called medieval trumpets that were used for military calls or drones.
So, the girls are preparing for the war, but with who? you ask? its a war with not the person who entirely crushed them but with the person who lives within them. The person who is innocent, and doesn't know how to make right decisions, and always ends up getting hurt.
and that is why the girls have scars and bruises on their faces bc they fought, or had a war with the other part of themselves.
Jennie's Scene:

Jennie's scene starts with her coming in a white dress, and later on the scene changes to her in a black dress. Her scene is portraying the story of Swan princess.

(SUPPORT: THE SWAN SET)

let me explain the story of swan princess briefly below.
The white and black swan is a cultural reference to the two swans in Tchaikovsky's swan lake in 1875–76. Where one ballerina dances the two versions of the swan. It's a fairytale about Odette. Odette is turned into a beautiful white swan (the swan wings crown) by a magician-
and falls in love with the swan prince, but is ousted by the black swan, Odile, who lures away the swan prince.
The white swan stands for innocence, romance and youth, odette dies at the end and the black swan represents threatening, demonic and erotic powers of a famme fatale who ultimately prevails but in the end the black swan loses her love. At start she shows she is the white swan-
and then she comes out with black dress, which means she is the black swan too.

then we see innocent white swan jennie with a heart, who breaks it, that means, it doesnt matter if she is a black swan or a white swan, she isnt getting her love. So she ends it before it ends her.
Lisa's Scene:

Lisa comes in through the door that says "heaven" which means the innocent lisa is gone and a dark, strong and fierce lisa is out to take revenge.
At the corner, notice a cereal box that says "sweeTEST" the 'test' is emphasized, which means, love might be a very sweet and nice feeling but at the same time its a test of hardships, struggles, and heartbreaks.
Jisoo's Scene:

Jisoo is inside the water. Sea represents intimidation, maybe quiet but deadly, stands for itself. This goes well with the concept of KTL.
Notice how jisoo is in the middle of the eyes -center of attraction- She is being watched. By who? by herself.

<<Look at me, look at you>>

She is talking to herself, hence the reflection. She's telling herself that its YOU who will be crying at the end, who will be more hurt-
bc this jisoo is in love with that person even though that person breaks her heart but she keeps going back only to be hurt again. So, the strong jisoo is talking to vulnerable Jisoo asking her to stop.
Then we see her with a beautiful coral crown. It is also called "coral design emphasis" Emphasis is what draws attention and becomes "focal point" - focus, reflection.

Jisoo is the centre of love and attraction. Whatever happens, it's her fault. All eyes on Jisoo.
Rosie's Scene:

EGO - it's not about the man bc they are afraid of their ego getting hurt or their ego is terrible - it's rosie's ego. It's her ego that dominates her love and is "driving" her crazy.
rosie is suffering from her love and the speed of the car also describes her rage
she is mad at herself for falling in love with the person who keeps breaking her, and bc of the anger, she is blinded and is not able to think straight so she is hunting her weaker self down and is trying to k*ll her, and that's why she is crying bc she is about to hurt herself.
Group scene:

Strong image. Change of outfits, and make-up, a whole change in the aura. Meaning, they are almost prepared for the war.
rum pa pum connotes gun sounds, again, preparing for a war or shooting the love
the statue that they explode is the greek goddess of love -Aphrodite- and exploding it means they k*lled the love.
Jenlisa's Scene:

there is nothing much to explain here but they are showing the strong selves of them coming out, and reminding the person what he did and they will come for him.
<<feelin' like a sinner>>

she feels like a sinner bc she k*lled herself and suicide is a sin or even a murder.
Rosie's 2nd scene:

<<lucky me, lucky you>>

Rosie is seen with a four leaf clover. Two sides of four leaf clover - brings u luck but also it doesn't - get it? just like the love has two sides. Lucky me, lucky you. She said that bc both of the lovers hurted each other.
but notice how the color for this scene is orange and then turns to blue?

Orange represents passion and warmth - the feeling when the relationship is new
Blue represents sadness - literally when this relationship starts going down the hill.
i saw a tweet that said "it looks like she is about to commit suicide"

i knew i wasnt the only one who thought about this. Rosie is about to k*ll herself that's why she gives that smile, that smile showed an emotion.
she smiles like that bc she thought of the painful memories, and is happy or "lucky" bc she is finally able to get rid of it.

blue also represents "calmness" and rosie IS being calm, i mean, she is literally standing there as if there isnt a whole thunderstorm going on.
Jisoo's 2nd Scene:

Jisoo is wearing a white dress - represents innocence and vulnerability.

2nd Jisoo is wearing a red dress - represents courage and strength.
Jisoo might also be Greek Goddess Aretmis - goddess of hunt.

So the strong jisoo is "hunting" down the vunerable jisoo. She wants to k*ll vulnerable jisoo as she too let that person break her.
Group 2nd Scene:

"love is a trap"

The girls stand in the middle of the trap bc they were the ones who were blinded by their lover and fell into their trap.
Rosie+Group Scene:

the place is ruined, it's giving off a bad vibe and negative vibes. Jisoo's scene gives the baddest energy,, oof.
they are in the streets now, there is graffiti on the wall that mostly says "love" or "leave"
rosies jacket says "tomorrow"

"yesterday they loved, today they fight and tomorrow they will leave"
the lyrics also give off a negative vibe, the weaker self is gone and stronger ones are out and controlling them. A gang who fought illegally on the streets and are now making their own rules.
Last Group scene:

The backup dancers dressed up as soldiers, meaning they have succeeded. They are now celebrating. They successfully k*lled the love and their weaker selves.
FURTHER SUPPORT:

notice the paintings on the side. It is called Renaissance Painting. Which symbolizes "rebirth"

So the girls are now strong, and coming out new and clean.
In conclusion,

K*ll this love is THAT song, and people literally like to come for them without understanding a thing. Blackpink literally gave a out a whole strong meaning and i hope ya'll will like and @fxke_us i love u and thank u again 🥺
