Baekhyun - Human, Exorcist

- Not a priest, takes care of dangerous entities anyways

- Works out of a sense of responsibility since it’s not a job that pays well if it pays at all

- Lives in a literal haunted house because he could get it cheap

Amber - Human, Priest

- Not your orthodox priest, Amber runs a small church that mostly caters to those like Baekhyun who deal with the supernatural

- She’s an important ally, able to bless objects or procure things like holy water and the occasional silver ritual knife

Sunny - Human, Psychic

- Supernaturally sensitive, able to sense supernatural beings/objects and read minds

- She only reads minds unintentionally or if absolutely necessary

- Her house is an unofficial cat sanctuary since she has taken in so many rescues

Sooyoung - Ghost

- Baekhyun’s “roommate”

- Has only been dead for a few years, killed by her former fiancé in their home

- Relatively cheerful all things considered, and likes to make living peacefully difficult for Baekhyun

Gulf - Human

- A coworker from Baekhyun’s day job, he’s a uni student just trying to get by

- He’s vaguely aware of Baekhyun’s other occupation, but it doesn’t truly feel real until an encounter with a handsome vampire

Chanyeol - Skin-walker

- A being able to take on the shape of any creature he has the skin of

- Lived as an animal for so long, he doesn’t really know how to fit in with humans

- Has very strong animal instincts, which has its pros and cons

Victoria - Witch, Coven Leader

- Head of Starfall coven, she’s a very powerful witch

- She’s a master at several different kinds of magic, and not someone to be taken lightly

- She is greatly respected within the magical community

- Familiar: Scorpion

Junmyeon - Witch, Lore Master

- A living encyclopedia, he is in charge of the Starfall coven’s library and can find information on almost anything

- He’s dating Yixing, who uses his healing magic to help Junmyeon’s headaches from babysitting his friends

- Familiar: Barn Owl

Irene - Witch, Clairvoyant

- One of the Starfall coven’s most talented witches, she has the rare ability to use her magic to see glimpses of the future

- She works the most with outsiders, creating potions and charms useful for all sorts of scenarios

- Familiar: Tarantula

Chaeyoung - Witch, Alchemist

- Irene’s apprentice, she specializes in all things potions

- She uses some unconventional sorcery, but the Starfall coven assigned Irene to watch over her to ensure her magic wasn’t ill-used

- Familiar: Manx Cat

Yixing - Witch, Healer

- A powerful healer, he’s an important member of the Starfall coven and a strong ally

- He often patches Baekhyun up after an encounter that doesn’t quite go as planned (generally all of them)

- Familiar: Black Cat

Jisoo - Garden Witch

- A nature witch, she tends to spend more time with plants than any other living things

- Part of the Starfall coven, though her involvement with them is limited at best as she is fairly reclusive

- Familiar: Toad

Dahyun - Samjokgu

- The current samjokgu, she lost her right leg in an accident the day the former three-legged dog spirit passed away

- A protector against all demons, especially fox demons, she was gifted an enchanted prosthetic that works almost as well as her original leg

Lu Han - Human, Gunsmith

- He might not have magic at his disposal, but he’s good with a weapon in a pinch

- Great at creating/maintaining weapons that work on supernatural beings that are a threat to the general public

Yeri - Human, Archer

- A skilled sharpshooter, her crossbow has a charm so she never misses her target

- She trains rescue mutts as supernatural hunting dogs, able to sniff out things humans miss

- Expect an arrow through your face if you hurt one of her dogs

Xiao Zhan - Human, Veterinarian

- A big animal lover, he has a soft spot for critters that need help

- An injured werewolf is the last thing he expects to wind up in his care, but his drive to help overrides his fear, especially when the werewolf is basically an overgrown puppy

Joy - Human, Vorpal Sword Wielder

- Human with no latent magic ability, which makes her able to handle the magic eating sword safely

- She has no idea about anything supernatural until she comes face to face with it

Wheein - Werewolf

- Born from a family of werewolves, she has much more control of herself than werewolves who used to be human

- Very rarely do blood werewolves interact with those outside their packs, so her lone wolf status is very unusual

Yibo - Werewolf

- Chased from his pack when he started becoming a threat to the alpha, he’s a lone wolf

- He has more control over himself as a born werewolf, but he struggles to survive on his own

- Injuries from run-ins with other werewolves aren’t uncommon for him

Zitao - Human -> Werewolf

- Has been a werewolf for years, met Baekhyun when he was first turned

- Works with Baekhyun, Lu Han, and Yeri on full moons to try and keep himself contained, as he is extremely dangerous and feral then

Sehun - Human

- Zitao’s boyfriend, aware that his partner is a werewolf

- A photographer, he was somewhat familiar with the supernatural even before he met Zitao, but has learned a lot through Baekhyun and the others

- A little too trusting, but a supportive friend and lover

Momo - Inugami

- Descending from a family with Inugami bloodlines, she has an Inugami spirit that can possess her at will

- Though an unusual arrangement, she can borrow the Inugami’s abilities as long as she helps satisfy the spirit’s voracious appetite

Chungha - Nogitsune

- Similar to an Inugami, she houses a fox spirit that can possess her

- Her fox form is black with five tails instead of the nine of a true kitsune or kumiho, and its the size of a small cat

- She’s constantly struggling to contain the aggressive spirit

Seulgi - Kumiho

- Though views of how dangerous fox women are vary based on region, her power is undeniable

- She has no remorse for seducing an easy meal, though humans are usually not worth the effort

- If her prey were to steal her fox bead, she’d be bound to them

Sana - Half-Kitsune

- Born to a kitsune mother and human father, she has seven fox tails instead of the nine of a full-blooded kistune or kumiho

- She doesn’t have a fox bead either, and mostly lives just like a human with a little bit of demon fox magic

Jennie - Swan Maiden

- Quiet and shy, she unwittingly becomes Jisoo’s wife when the witch discovers her swan pelt

- Though unintentionally wed, she is faithful and enjoys learning more about the human world and their customs

Luna - Elf

- Not immortal, but has an extremely long lifespan

- Very kind and peaceful, and has a good relationship with nature spirits and deities

- Considered a high class of fae folk, so she can travel easily between the human and fairy realms at will

Rosé - Fairy

- From the Fae Realm, she is less of a prankster than most other fairy folk

- She cares more about nature than playing tricks, though she won’t hesitate to use her magic against those who would harm her forest

Seohyun - Forest Guardian

- A lesser forest god, she is the protector of a large, untamed forest

- Forest guardians are increasingly rare, so she does her best to keep her home and its residents safe from those who would harm them

Hyoyeon - Genie

- Incredibly powerful, she slumbered for 200 years before her lamp fell into Sunny’s hands

- She generally despises humans, but those with noble intentions she can tolerate

Minseok - Bakeneko

- A luck spirit, he tends to find himself with whoever he feels needs his help the most

- He has a fondness for lost souls, but isn’t inherently malicious; he just gravitates towards those who attract trouble

Mina - Nekomata

- A giant cat shifter, she’s a generally peaceful spirit who keeps to herself

- She tends to live in the forest away from humans and their conflicts, but every once in a while she finds herself intrigued by their chaos

Wendy - Crow Tengu

- A territorial demon, she dislikes outsiders and is extremely prideful

- Her help is hard to obtain, but she enjoys putting her talons to good use when she feels like it

Jeongyeon - Owl Tengu

- Not as prideful as a Crow Tengu, but still not a demon to be messed with

- Mostly reclusive, she tends to keep to herself and avoid unnecessary conflict, but she will defend what is hers without hesitation

Taeyeon - Witch, Spell-Writer

- Extremely talented, she has a knack for creating unique, powerful spells

- She mostly keeps her talents to herself, and isn’t part of any coven

- Familiar: White Ball Python

Tiffany - Siren

- Able to lure humans in with her voice alone, she is able to walk amongst them undetected aside from her alluring aura

- She has an unbreakable bond with the sea, but visits land as needed

Solar - Selkie

- A child of the sea, she’s forced to leave her home behind her when her seal pelt is stolen from her

- She’s resentful of her marriage at first, but grows to understand Moonbyul’s desperation as she gets to know her more

Kyungsoo - Witch, Conjurer

- Born with an innate ability to summon, he calls on all sorts of spirits to help him as needed

- He’s usually very careful to avoid forming blood contracts, but a summoning gone wrong binds him to a sex demon meant to be exorcised

- Familiar: Rat

Jongin - Incubus

- A demon that feeds off of lust, he is fairly fond of humans and their debauchery

- He is generally harmless, as long as he’s frequently able to feed in small doses

Nayeon - Imp

- A prankster demon, she likes to cause mischief whenever possible

- Not inherently malicious, just mischievous and playful and she likes to stir up trouble where she can

Sulli - Nagi

- Half snake, half woman, she can be terrifying at first before it’s apparent she’s typically harmless

- She’s only a real threat to truly evil souls or those who are destined to die prematurely

Sunmi - Witch, Voodoo Queen

- Greatly misunderstood, she practices mostly healing and protection magic

- A student of her stepmother, she’s a master of crafting charms and amulets

- Her parlor sometimes competes with Irene and Sunny’s practices

- Familiars: Turtledoves

Lisa - Matagot (Fox)

- Mischievous, she can teleport between realms like the human world or the fairy realm in an instant

- She is a luck spirit at her core, but she only shares her luck with those she deems worthy

Yuri - Nahual (Jaguar)

- A werecat, or werejaguar, she becomes a feline beast similar to her more common canine counterpart

- While werewolves are calmer with a pack, she is a solitary hunter and doesn’t enjoy the company of many aside from her mate

Yoona - Vampire

- Undead, Yoona has been immortal for almost 300 years

- Though she feeds off of blood, she’s peaceful and would rather feed often than kill her prey with a single feeding

- Luckily her Nahual girlfriend heals quickly, and doesn’t mind being a blood donor

Mew - Vampire

- Part of Yoona’s coven, he’s still a relatively new vampire that’s just over 100 years old

- The loss of a former human lover was devastating, so he tries to avoid getting attached to them

- A persistent, adorable brat wants to make distance difficult for him

Tzuyu - Vampire

- Newly turned, she’s still adjusting to being undead

- She’s not sure how she feels about being turned against her will, but there’s not much she can do about it

- She’s being mentored by Yoona, who she respects and adores greatly

Moonbyul - Elemental Witch

- A rogue witch, she harnesses the elements in her strong spells

- She isn’t interested in covens, but she has formed an alliance with Jongdae out of necessity

- Though accidentally married, she’s very fond of Solar

- Familiar: Black Kingsnake

Jongdae - Witch, Necromancer

- A witch who plays with life and death, he’s ostracized from self-respecting covens

- He generally keeps a low profile, but his black magic can take a horrible toll on himself

- Reapers hate him and his mortality is questionable

- Familiar: Raven

Kris - Grim Reaper

- Tasked with collecting departed souls, he is rather detached from living beings

- He dislikes those who interfere with death, so he is familiar with Jongdae the necromancer

- He is not merciless, but takes his job very seriously

Hwasa - Nephilim

- The child of an angel and a demon, she shouldn’t exist

- Her wholly neutral presence leaves everyone unsure of how to regard her

- Angels want her destroyed, as a symbol of angels giving in to sin, while demons just want to corrupt her fully

Jessica - Angel

- A messenger of the heavens, her righteous power is nothing to scoff at

- Angels rarely visit the human realm anymore, so her presence causes major unrest amidst the magical community

Krystal - Archangel

- An angelic warrior, her presence can be literally earth-shattering because of her tremendous power

- She has a very strong bond with Jessica compared to the rest of their angel siblings

Jihyo - Valkyrie

- A war-goddess, she oversees the fate of those who have died in battle

- One of several of her kind, she has been inactive in her area of control lately, but a hint of a war brewing draws her to walk amongst mortals again
