A lot of sayings about BDSM & D/s get tweeted (often with B&W porn gifs).
They're often presented as fundamental truths but they're not really. They're someone's personal views and it's absolutely ok if they don't resonate with you.
What matters is BDSM & D/s that works for you.

My personal view (see what I did there) is that there's no one-size-fits all way of doing BDSM etc., but there are some fundamental principles - informed consent, good communication, awareness of risks, mutual respect. Treating human beings like human beings, basically.

Now there are accounts that tweet loads of one or two sentence statements about BDSM, D/s and kink, often accompanied by a tasteful (or not) pic or gif. Usually B&W. There may be a man in a suit too.
Those accounts are doing twitter in a way that works for them and that's great.

But fundamentally (again, see what I did there lol) BDSM and D/s and kink are about people.
And people are multifaceted bundles of nuance and complexity. There's no sweeping statement, no generalisation or One True Way that can encompass that.

So if you ever see stuff on here that doesn't resonate with you, *that is absolutely fine* and there is nothing wrong with that, or with you.
Equally, if you see stuff on here that does resonate with you, that's great!
What matters is BDSM & D/s that works for you.

BUT do your own research into BDSM, D/s and kink. Never rely on any one single source of information - such as a dominant (including me ) telling you that their way of doing D/s is the only/ best way. Knowledge is power and the better informed you are, the better!

AND remember there is a big difference between fantasy & reality. BDM & D/s fantasies are great but please educate yourself on healthy kink before trying to do anything that you've read/ seen - it may be more complex than you realise, or it may not be a good idea to do it at all!
