There's an important point to this line of questioning.

It seems like I'm trying to debunk Jesus —I'm not.

Some have guessed where I'm going. If anything, it supports claims Jesus was extraordinary. Religious beliefs need not hinge on manner of death or details of resurrection.

What if:
-Jesus was a sacrifice & they drank his blood?
-He was such a trophy, they celebrated his murder down thru ages?
-Drinking his blood & eating his flesh came from them?
-Turning us into unwitting cannibals & vampires (symbolic only) was one of their proudest perversions?

Knights Templar symbolism (among other things) makes one wonder.
