Here is Armand, @ArmandDAngour starting his lecture. I am making sure that the Skype audio levels remain constant (it was a challenge and he was sooo patient!) but I move away later once the Q and A begin. Very detailed questions were asked, and he was marvelous!

@AndyWPhilosophy is discussing how using myths connects with the people in prison whom he teaches. His upcoming book is about his experiences in this topic. I have my phone in my hand as I’m asking him questions, to get him started.

I rapped Alexandros Paris 4 years ago. Same time Brandon began his rap— and we both heard Hamilton around the same time and understood.

Olga Faccani, our last speaker (UC Santa Barbara)talking about the Odyssey Project, a theater project of Homer’s Odyssey acted by people in prison.

I cannot emphasize how thrilled & honored I was that such amazing people lectured in CCA-S conference today.

(It was a challenge. My son was sick. I couldn’t eat today bc I was anxious & sick. I say this to make people understand the process. We are academics. We are people.)

Two of my AP students came w their parents! They shared today particularly what they enjoyed:
1) engineering student talking to Adrienne
2) philosophy student loved Andy’s & Armand’s talk
3) the students I showed this Twitter feed to loved Brandon’s message & passion.
