Well it is true because of the ultra leftists brainwashing the adivasis but had the Maharaja of Bastar continued to live their would have been no Naxalism in Bastar.

Bastar was ruled by the Kakatiya Monarchy. Pravir Chandra Bhanj Deo born in 1929 became the monarch in July 1947.
The king's family was an expert in Tantrik Siddhi and thus had a full control over the tribals.

Pravir was raised by a retired army couple and he stayed in London for 4 years to take care of his mother till the maharani died.
Thus he could learn fluent and flawless English

Nizam of Hyderabad requested him to merge with Hyderabad but the King refused and joined India.

Soon after merging with India rifts started appearing between Pravir and the Govt. Pravir could not come to terms with loss of autonomy and the Govt was not comfortable with his immense popularity amongst tribals

Once President of India visited Bastar and Pravir did not receive him. Citing the fact that he is not a full fledged Maharaja and further the GOI is trying to recognise his brother as the king.

Congress under the CM Ravishankar Shukla tried to prove that Pravir is Mad. He gets hallucinations.

Pravir warned the govt that if it takes any action against him then 90000 adivasis will revolt and another 40000 will go to Delhi and protest in front of PMO and another 40000 will court imprisonment.
He warned that coz of his supernau powers he can paralyse the govt machinery

The govt through a presidential order Pravir was derecognised as the Maharaja of Bastar and in his place his brother Vijay was recognised

But Pravir was revered by his publicans it revolted badlyTha adivasis only treated Pravir as their King.

When Pravir Married 150000 adivasis came to celebrate and in the Dasara festival it was Pravir who was riding the chariot not Vijay

More and More tribals started visiting Jagdalpur with bows and arrows but the situation was averted due to a court order as per which the administration was asked to return the properties of Pravir.
Pravir celebrated this by distributing wealth among his followers

Now Pravir was struck with ambitions and he wanted to make Bastar an independent Hindu Monarchy. He developed a sense of separation amongst the tribals

The major blunder MP govt made was that they imposed graded levy on rice production across MP. Bastar was too poor couldn't afford that.

Scuffles kept on happening between govt and Pravir. Even a local pole raising ceremony in honour of goddess stambheshvari Devi was seen by the police as Vijay stambh(victory against govt).

A confrontation happened because the pole ceremony and the Superintendent accused Pravir of threatening him and the police force of fire consequences.

In an earlier incident when court ordered the properties to be taken back from Vijay and given back to Pravir. Vijay stole valuables including golden rods of Danteshwari goddess.Tribals became angry in order to defuse the situation the rods were recovered from Vijay's possession

Once members of samyukta socialist party instigated tribals . Section 144 was imposed . One of the undertrail prisoner attracted the attention of tribals. Jail was attacked prisoners were freed , police fired at the tribals and the tribals attacked with bow and arrow.

The police chased the tribals and tribals went to Pravir's palace. Pravir came out on the porch to see what was happening and was shot by the police and thus was killed

The administration was so afraid of the tribal revolt because "The God Of Adivasis" had died that the Police took a look a like of the Maharaja and drove him in the Royal Rolls Royce .

Even if the Maharaja was at fault the Congress Govt could have handled him better, and given him due respect but it didnt.
Once Nehru said about Pravin that Bastar is a DM level problem

He was a pure Hindu King had he remained alive the missionaries wouldn't have dared to enter Bastar, Jagadalpur and Dantevada. The state would have remained Hindu.
