Here are 5 lessons I've learned

1. Give more focus on your creatives than on your copy.
Don't get me wrong, the copy is important. But in the last few months, tweaking copy isn't as effective as tweaking/making creatives.

I used to push for professional-looking creatives that stand out.
But no matter how many times I test it, Facebook users are more engaged with content they believe is posted by their friend.
In other words: use faces!

2. Product-Market fit matters more than "having winning products" or "fully understanding FB technicalities."
A single tweak on your offer can mean a HUGE profit for you.
I worked with a brand spending around $300/day with 1.4 ROAS. When we changed a SMALL part of our offer and tested different angles, we were able to scale to around $1.5k/day with a ROAS of 2.4.

3. Facebook likes it simple. I had a client which had over 100 campaigns in the last 60 days, and when I simplified the whole structure, the results drastically improved.
I worked with people spending over $97k on just 1 campaign with 4 ad sets inside and 2 ads in each ad set all in 1 month.
Side note: use rules, but don't overuse them.

4. Retargeting matters a lot more than you think.
You can't just ask someone to marry you when you've just met. I mean you can, but it obviously won't be effective.
Some might say yes, but most would undoubtedly say no.

Use quizzes, polls and content for your retargeting.
Nurture your audience (from LUKEWARM to HOT) and they will buy from you.
Try it out and see the magic happen.

5. Backend is everything
Bad day? Not really.
You can still experience a 20-40% lift after a 15-day window with a good backend system.

When you get to a higher spend ($5k+/day) you can't simply rely on "today stats" to tell you how things are going. Look back 7 days.
