Talking of fads, Mixer!

Looking at the stats, mixer's popularity never even came close to overtaking twitch in terms of google searches
So we looked at the data, here's the traffic data (both paid and organic) from the US for today via semrush

Left is Twitch, right is Mixer
interesting to note that mixer has a significantly higher number of paid searches, meaning that their advertising on search engines is a hell of a lot more but isn't yielding anywhere near enough to keep up
Also to note that these searches are from desktop only, the mobile searches for mixer were only about 2k since the app would be the primary source of mobile viewing
alright that's enough on the topic for now, so I'll end with this closing thought:

Using the words twitch and mixer you can make the word twix

go have a twix guys, you earned it
<3 thanks

I don't think mixer will be able to sustain the same growth it's getting. I've used this analogy before but I think it's similar to when apex legends dropped. It had a huge boom but couldn't keep up the attack so never truly overtook fortnite.
