A conspiracy thread: the DMT Dimension
Aldous Huxley, English writer and philosopher most famous for his book Brave New World, liked to dabble in the world of psychedelics. Most of his experiences with them are included in his lesser known book, The Doors of Perception.
In the book, Huxley basically says that psychedelics allow one to perceive higher dimensions. He claims the brain works like a filter, and when the brain is functioning in its normal state, we perceive less than 1% of the light spectrum.
However, when our brains are under the influence of hallucinogens, certain parts shut off, making this filter wider, allowing more information to make its way in.
Some of these sections of the brain may also be responsible for your sense of self identity, hence why people feel more connected or at one with the universe.
He also theorizes that this is perhaps the condition schizophrenics are born with, a faulty filter, one with a few leaks. After all, reality is by definition what we see, hear, etc. Who’s to say their reality is wrong?
I don’t think Huxley ever experimented with DMT, but I still believe his research is relevant. N-Dimethyltryptamine, famously dubbed “the spirit molecule” by Dr Rick Strassman, wasn’t too popular back then. However, today it’s becoming a common discussion topic.
DMT has been very frustrating for scientists to study because it’s highly illegal. But it’s found in many living things, including YOU. How can the government make something natural illegal? Are they trying to keep us from expanding our minds?
Its been found in trace amounts of our blood, but some theorize it’s actually produced in our pineal gland, or third eye, and is released when we dream and die. Some Taoist meditation techniques are said to produce the chemical as well.
DMT trips typically only last 15 minutes or so, but they can feel like a lifetime. Is this why time is distorted in dreams? Is this why the afterlife lasts an eternity?
Many people also report seeing and interacting with strange beings while experimenting with the substance. Terrance McKenna, a famous psychonaut, or one who explores the mind, called them the “clockwork elves”.
I find it funny that for all of time, elves have been subliminally associated with hallucinogens.
Some conspiracy theorists claim that many rich and powerful people also use the substance for nefarious means. They claim that they are using DMT to communicate with higher dimensional entities in order to bring back the forbidden knowledge of advanced technology.
Ironically, Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, was known to experiment with LSD in order to enhance his creativity. Micro-dosing is becoming increasingly popular in Silicon Valley. Jobs was also a big advocate of the power of the mind.
Odd how AI created artwork looks uncannily similar to a DMT hallucination. Are these machines linked up to higher dimensions? Was the knowledge to build these machines passed down from those same higher planes of existence? Are they trying to build a doorway?
I truly believe there is another world that exists right on top of this one. I believe that world is the same as the dream world or astral plane. Many people who lucid dream and astral project say they are capable of creating things with their imagination at will in this place.
I also believe the astral plane is where the afterlife takes place. Many people who have had near death experiences claim they entered the afterlife they believed in. Is it possible that our beliefs affect where we go after we pass on?
Perhaps the light of heaven can also be the fire of hell depending on our frame of reference and attitude. I believe heaven and hell are right here, right now, and it is up to us to decide the kind of world we want to live in.
Heavens and Hells, angels and demons, surround us at all times. However, we can only perceive them with our spiritual organ, or mind’s eye. It’s basically a portal into the multiverse. But have the powers that be shut it off?
Some people think the fluoride in our water has calcified it. Like I said earlier, it’s possible that whoevers in charge doesn’t want us using the full capacity of our brain. Our brain is basically an organic quantum computer. We are capable of doing way more than we are led on.
This is not to say that I advocate going out and doing a bunch of drugs. I often think of how Carl Jung told us to “beware of unearned wisdom” when this topic comes to mind. I’d also like to end with this quote from Alan Watts. Thanks for reading 💜
