As seen only a few days ago as of typing and also included on my moment, Bane has been a Red Lantern in the past.
His ring was forcibly removed by Gorilla Grodd which (killed him), but he was resurrected after a final battle.

At the time, he did not know the full range of his abilities. He had no idea his ring could teleport him places, allow him to spit blood. He knew how to make constructs and fly.

Bane essentially has three forms when taking Venom.
The first form is the one seen in Arkham Origins, not the final boss TN-1 though.
Second is the one that he swells up to in TAS.
Third is the nine foot monster from Arkham Asy/City.
