Tomb Raider 2: 4/5
Several notable improvements over TR1.
The new secret system helped with the balancing.
The save solution removed a lot of tension but it allowed them to throw the book at you.
Temple of Xian is cool.

TR2 trades single setpiece moments for larger enviroments.
Puzzles seemed better but my dumbass couldn't recognize a puzzle was happening half the time.
Marco Bartolli is a far less interesting villain but a better boss.

Something someone I watched noted was that Tomb Raider never reset it's difficulty. So far it holds mostly true and I find it interesting that they would favor fans over new players since narrativly each game is self contained.
