(THREAD) Charlie Kirk's deceptions.
@charliekirk11 spends much of his time trying to deceive his fans. If people educate themselves they should able to see these deceptions coming and not be susceptible to them.
1/ Patriotism includes educating yourself so you aren't easily deceived.
I will note that Charlie dropped out of college and may actually believe some of the stuff he says, even the most ridiculous things.
2/ Once a person learns enough about how the world works they will be less susceptible to be being deceived by cherry picked data. For example, ...
3/ ... if I said:
"There was a left-handed person in Indiana yesterday who killed a right-handed person. We need to get these left-handed people out because they are a danger to right-handed people."
Would anybody fall for that?
4/ Okay, some CK fans might, but I think most people would figure out that this was ridiculous.
For one thing, what about all the right-handed people saved because a left-handed person was around?
5/ Like if a drunk driver goes into the wrong lane and the first car they hit is driven by a left-handed person, instead of the next car that was driven by a right-handed person? The right-handed person would probably never know, but it doesn't matter, they were still saved.
6/ Or a right-handed person who has a heart attack on the street and a left-handed person calls 911 and saves their life?

I could do the same kind of thing as above with Republicans. Wake up every day and look through the crime lists for crimes committed by Republicans.
7/ Would anybody fall for it if I came up with a crime, or even 10 crimes, a day by Republicans? Clearly, we can get enough data to get some idea whether a group being around makes another group less safe, but cherry picking a few individual deaths certainly isn't it.
8/ If every day I pointed out a single bad crime by 1 Republican, like a murder of 1 person or a rape of 1 person, would anybody start going off about how we had to stop all the Republicans? I hope not.
9/ Hopefully they would point out the deception, not try to build up the hate until people got hurt.

Which takes us to an example of one of Charlie's deception tactics.
10/ It is clear that every day Charlie checks to see if he can find a crime committed by an illegal immigrant in a country of over 300 million people with likely more than 20 million illegal immigrants, or has people to do that.
11/ I could provide multiple examples, but here is one from 4 days before Charlie was trying to distract people from his and Trump's role in building up the kind of hate the El Paso killer of 3AUG2019 had, where Charlie was telling people not to use that Trump supporter's name.
12/ Juan Balderas Chimalhua was arrested in a traffic incident in 2010 and now this guy committing a reprehensible crime in 2019 against a single girl is supposed to inspire everybody against all illegal immigrants.
13/ As an aside, I wonder how much crime Trump knew about from Epstein that was worse than a traffic incident with $300 bond, in 2002 when Trump praised Epstein as terrific and liking young women, who Trump had known for 15 years: https://twitter.com/darinp2/status/1099568699437006850
14/ Back to Charlie, here is a response to Charlie from another one of his immigrant tweets from 2 days before. This is the kind of conclusion Charlie wants people to jump to and the kind of response Charlie is trying to inspire.
15/ He wants people to think that his cherry picked examples show that citizens are less safe because all the illegal immigrants haven't been deported. The kind of thing the El Paso killer would be inspired by. Seems like it worked on the fan in the tweet above.
16/ It isn't just Charlie doing this either. There is an industry of deception on this. Fox News put false information about immigrant crime on their site and when I told them and the author they didn't care and the author ( @Kathy4Truth) blocked me here.
17/ A while back the DHS put out some data that showed about 1 out of 50 people approved for DACA had more than 1 arrest. Kathy Barnette then falsely claimed in her article for Fox that, "[R]oughly 55 percent of all approved DACA requestors had more than one arrest."
18/ That is not what the DHS said or data showed. Clearly it didn't seem off to Kathy to claim that over half that population had more than 1 arrest, as even after I told her about it she wouldn't fix it. The article is over a year old and still there: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/the-border-crisis-a-moms-perspective
19/ Back to Charlie's deceptions. Another place he has tried to deceive is about ISIS. Charlie clearly never really cared whether claiming that ISIS had been obliterated, and increasing the calls to pull troops out that were fighting ISIS, was in America's best interest, ...
20/ ... since Trump's best interest and the power that comes with being close with the Trumps is what seems to drive Charlie.
21/ If during WWII somebody had tried to claim that Hitler had been defeated long before he had, and later called for pulling troops out before Hitler was defeated, the true patriots would have called that person a traitor.
22/ Charlie was telling people all the way back in 1/2018 that ISIS had been obliterated, then utterly eliminated in 06/2018, then freshly defeated in 12/2018. This pic is just 2018. On 3/23/2019 Charlie was onto, "This week ISIS was defeated and destroyed."
23/ Some may recall that in 12/2018 Trump had one of the worst Presidential days in history. The Flynn sentencing did not go well for him, a copy of a letter of intent signed by Trump for Trump Tower Moscow got out that showed he lied, and Trump's charity was shut down for fraud.
24/ The next day Trump decided to try to change the news cycle by announcing the withdrawal of troops from Syria. Mattis told Trump this was a bad idea, but Trump was set on it and so Mattis resigned, with Trump not understanding that Mattis's resignation letter was shade.
25/ Trump then claimed to not know who a guy was, when that was the guy overseeing fighting ISIS. So, Trump should get credit for what he did against ISIS, but not knowing the name of the person in charge kind of shows Trump's involvement level, or dishonesty.
26/ Trump also eventually went back and changed his mind about the troop withdrawal (which Charlie had pushed for), but Trump had already gotten his change of news by then, and America lost a top general in exchange. One more example of Trump First, not America First.
27/ For more Middle East stuff involving Charlie, I haven't seen Charlie say a single word against the sale of nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia that Trump has approved, despite Charlie tweeting this previously. True patriots will watch this nuclear stuff with Trump.
28/ I just heard about a second mass shooting by a white supremacist today. I bet Charlie and company still won't want to do anything about it and will keep inflaming. How long will Charlie wait before continuing to do his best deceptions to inflame people?
29/ When the MAGABomber stuff was going on before the midterms Charlie's friend, ex-employee, and fellow deceiver @RealCandaceO tweeted this, then deleted it when proven wrong. Notice that it had almost 40k tweets at the time she deleted it, and her crazy caravan claim.
30/ I should have mentioned originally that one of the clues that Charlie is a deceiver is that he never includes links for anything he tweets. That is a key part of his deception strategy. If you check on just a few tweets it becomes apparent why he doesn't ever include links.
31/ It seems like Charlie doesn't include links partially because then it is hard to prove his deceptions. One area where Charlie likes to deceive is polling. He uses Rasmussen since they are biased toward Republicans, and I understand that, but he goes further than that.
32/ As an example, Charlie tweeted on 8JUL2019 that Trump was at 50% with Rasmussen, then on 14JUL2019 mentioned a poll about AOC and others that was for less educated whites (Charlie didn't mention that) and said Trump was at 51%, even though Trump had fallen with Rasmusssen.
33/ Rasmussen is Charlie's favorite poll, but the last time Trump had been at 51% with Rasmussen was a month before Charlie's tweet. Rasmussen had lots of results since the 51%, as seen in the picture of data from Rasmussen. If Charlie picked a previous number, then he lied.
34/ I continue to see Charlie's fans get excited when he pulls up some Trump approval number they like, maybe not realizing that he not only uses a biased poll, but may use an old number from that one. Both sides cherry pick polls, so I use a compilation: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/
35/ As I showed in 22/ above, sometimes Charlie outright
lies for Trump. Other times he deceives without technically lying. Here is a tweet from him from today, September 4, 2019.
36/ CK had been talking about 6M jobs under Trump, but job creation for the year up to 3/19 was revised:
https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesprelbmk.htm
"The preliminary estimate of the benchmark revision indicates a downward adjustment to March 2019 total tonfarm employment of -501,000 (-0.3 percent)."
37/ While the announcement was made that Trump's jobs estimates had been too high, the monthly numbers haven't been updated as of the time I am writing this tweet. Here is the data before the adjustment that comes out to over 40k jobs per month.
38/ Things haven't looked so good for Trump on the jobs front since January, so Charlie decided to tweet old stuff in September. January was a good month, before the average went to 141k for the next 6 months.
Here is the link for the job creation data:
https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth
39/ We'll have to see if the January number goes under 300k after the -500k yearly revision is applied, but that would seem likely. After the revision Trump is quite a bit behind the pace Obama had set.
40/ Here is an example of the kind of illiterate stuff that attracts Charlie Kirk fans to him. @AOC tweeted this about Trump’s lawbreaking behavior being a national scandal, but not impeaching him being a bigger national scandal: https://twitter.com/aoc/status/1175619319432196096?s=21
41/ Charlie read that and decided to claim @AOC said that Trump’s lawbreaking behavior was not a national scandal:
https://twitter.com/charliekirk11/status/1175642167336812544?s=21
What an embarrassment that there are Americans who listen to an illiterate college dropout hack like CK. How did we get so many dumb ones?
42/ CK wants people to believe that he should be trusted to properly analyze complicated situations like the Kavanaugh accusations, or obstruction of justice, but he is so dumb that if somebody said, "Bob is a bigger jerk that John" CK would think they said John wasn't a jerk.
43/ Typo in 42/. Should have been "bigger jerk than John".
44/ In tweet 33/ above I mentioned a case where it looked like Charlie went back almost a month to cherry pick one day from Rasmussen to claim as Trump's approval. This one isn't nearly as bad, but figured I would point it out.

As of now Trump is at at 48% on Rasmussen.
45/ Charlie thought 5 points higher sounded better, so he went and grabbed the highest number from Rasmussen in a long time (53%). He only had to go back 3 more results, so far from Charlie's worst deceptions, but just something for people to keep in mind.
46/ Here is another example of Charlie lying. Here Charlie is asked about his claim that a person of a different gender and persuasion got his spot at West Point. Charlie responds that he never said that. Then there is video of him saying that. https://twitter.com/L0G1c9UY/status/1194013455382130689?s=20
Which lie are you talking about? The 1 about why he didn’t get into West Point? I shouldn’t have to explain how that lie would benefit him, or how denying that lie would benefit him. He changed his story again later. You okay with these too: https://twitter.com/darinp2/status/1157910149236809729
