board games in my collection ranked by how much i want to play them with taylor: a thread

1. time stories
she'd definitely get super into the mystery, she loves puzzles, and it's a multi-installment game that requires the same players from beginning to end meaning i'd get to play at least eight more games with her. success all around

2. dead of winter
you're kidding yourself if you say you DON'T want to play a co-op zombie apocalypse game with taylor. she would be v good at thinking ahead and factoring in ppl's abilities. however if she was a secret traitor you just KNOW she'd be the best secret traitor ever

3. spirit island
as if i'd pass up the opportunity to play a collab anti-imperialist board game with taylor. also she'd LOVE the detailed lore and would def choose one of the more complicated gods on her first play just bc she likes their story which is a power move i fuck with

4. mysterium
she'd come up with the most creative clues if she were the ghost, and if she were one of the psychics then her intuition would 100% be key in helping everyone decode the dream cards. plus this is my fave game and i wanna gush over the pretty art with her

5. betrayal at the house on the hill
god can you imagine if she ended up triggering the haunt and becoming the traitor.... everyone else would be doomed. but chances are she'd still be good and regardless she'd love the exploratory game mechanics and the commitment to the mood

6. pandemic
i'm sure with the right team she'd be able to beat this game in like ten turns and i wanna see it in action. also i think she'd really enjoy some of the more complex expansions (bio terrorist, anyone?) and it'd be cool to say you eradicated disease with taylor swift

7. twilight struggle
you can't tell me that taylor swift, a woman who wrote an entire song about ethel kennedy, wouldn't enjoy a historically based board game about the cold war. also it's two player so we going one on one historical geekery time

8. euphoria
she would def appreciate all the fun touches and i feel like some of the lil details would make her laugh which is always a good thing. i feel like she could be ruthless in her competitiveness and this would be a great game to unleash it

9. 7 wonders
idk i just like this game a lot and wanna play with her. no other special reason i just think this one would be fun

10. smash up
she would effortless come up with the most effective and creative deck pairing and i want to learn from her ways. plus this game is just FUN and SILLY which she'd definitely appreciate
