With the 2019/20 Premier League season starting next week, I think now is a good time to break down a few of the key tools that we have for RotoWire subscribers.
Firstly, I know that a lot of the stats we have are available for free on other sites, and I understand that some people have no interest for paying for something when they can get it elsewhere for free. That being said, I think our offering is worth a subscription.
We have a plethora of stats pages, fully populated from a feed from Opta, who provides stats for a plethora of fantasy sites, both season-long and daily. You can choose from a variety of stats to display over the course of a season or a specific gameweek range.
And if you want to see specific information from a single gameweek, you can do so, with the page adding in opponent, H/A, formation and specific player position
We also offer all of these on a team level.
And speaking of team level, our comprehensive team pages break down each match with a multitude of stats, as well as a breakdown of the player stats on the team, including totals, home and away
We don't stop at only team stats accumulated, as our defense vs. position page allows you to see how many of each stats were conceded over the course of the season, a specific gameweek range or a single gameweek
But we're always more interested in individual player stats. However, before we get there, our team trends page is my favorite tool on our site, showing you a weekly breakdown of accumulated stats, allowing you to see things like who took set pieces each week
Our individual player pages are PACKED with information, including the latest news (of course), but also detailed game logs throughout the season (and the previous). Additionally, you can select a range of matches and see the totals and home/away splits over that span
And if you want more information on a match level, we have one of the easiest-to-read box scores you'll find with a full formation that not only shows field position but also the ability to see certain stats within the graphic.
And speaking of formations, every match day we have all of the formations on a single page. Can you get formations for free elsewhere? Surely. Can you get them all on a single page? You can at RotoWire.
I knew I was going to forget something from earlier. Not only do we have the team trends page, but we also have one on a stat-specific level, so you can see who is creating the most chances (or taking the most shots, or winning the most tackles) this season/recently.
And if #DFS is your thing, we have a page that mimics our stats trend pages but actually shows fantasy scores from either DraftKings, FanDuel or Yahoo - and you can get just floor points (total fantasy points minus goals, assists, cards, clean sheets) too
And if you're looking for a more human element to your soccer analysis, we've already posted two updates to our pre-season player rankings, and we have full season-long projections that feed our custom rankings page that allows you to input your own league scoring rules
We also do a weekly DFS podcast (please rate and review!) previewing the main Saturday Premier League slate each week, plus added ones for Champions League.
And speaking of the Champions League, we have all of our stats pages mentioned above available for the Champions League as well as La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, MLS, Liga MX and Brasileiro. One subscription gets you access to every soccer page for every league we cover.
Again, I realize a lot of this information is available for free elsewhere, but I truly believe you won't find anything remotely close to what we have if you don't want to spend hours upon hours of time scraping stats and running endless spreadsheet formulas to mimic our tools
And if you think it's probably really expensive for a subscription to a website that has all these stats pages and tools, I'll tell you that we charge $3.99 per month for a regular soccer subscription and $5.99 if you want to add DFS tools ($2 more per month not $5.99 more per)
If you're someone who likes to try things out first, that's okay! Just visit http://rotowire.com/soccertrial  and get 10 days of the website for free, no credit card required. If you like what you see, jump on in! And if there's something you'd like us to add, we're always open to that.
Finally (because I forgot to mention it earlier), all RW subscribers have access to our Discord chat, which has hundreds of members who love to celebrate and tilt fantasy soccer. We're also developing some pretty cool features in there too, which I'll brag about another time.
Okay, that's enough spamming your timelines for today - if you have any questions about RotoWire or RotoWire Soccer or any of our pages and tools, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'll be here.
