PROMARE spoilers // I don't know what i'm writing, but i sure am not in my right mind

Have you ever thought of Galo breaking down (both mentally and physically) silently crying because ofKray's betrayal: -
- that man was a pillar, a hero, almost a father fig to him, how he ended up being fooled and alone his whole life thus far. Yet Lio's brutal arrival in his life brought him so much happiness, bliss.
In a way, that happy-go-lucky persona, a huge dumbo that burns with passion, was made possible thanks to Kray's figure. Him breaking down their bonds was more than just a goodbye.
But a man with a burning passion more flamboyant than a Burnish's flame shouldn't show his tears right? He should keep them buried in his sorrowful puffed chest, head and chin up, standing proudly.
Meeting Lio was like meeting his second-half, someone with whom he knew he could, one day, lift the burden he had been carrying. The ex-Mad Burnish leader suffered too, he heard an astral entity's cries, screams, and lived for them for so long.
Furthermore he was witty, understanding to some extent, stood by his position with force yet he was so emotionally driven at times. In him too, there was something that was blazing spiritually, that fueled him to be *this* tenacious, strong, courageous.
Sometimes, Lio's words didn't really come across Galo: his mind wasn't really into pompous expressions or long explanations. He preferred when they were all about shouts and actions, living life as it is, as dangerous and overwhelming as it may be.
And sometimes life was just too much, emotions were too much to take for himself. To let go or to pile up, he never really knew what to do as his chin was pleading for him to finally let go.
"Crying doesn't make you weaker.", Lio once said, catching the blue head on spot as they were sitting side by side at the frozen lake. Hovering a hand on the nape of his neck, a short contact enough to make Galo more than misty-eyed, he pursued:
"One's braveness doesn't forcibly resides in ruthless force but also in coming to terms with your own fears and angers, understanding them..." He paused, weighting his words with a feint smile: "...And making the flaming best out of it."
Just like how he used to infuse life through his parted hips, the pastel hair pressed a careful kiss on the now salty cheek, as if absorbing the pain away for the greater good.
Gazing down, trying to hold up, Galo's usual radiant grin finally blubbered in relief.
