for those people who doesn’t understand the issues about what going on with hong kong here’s a thread : #PrayForHongkong
Those people in white shirts basically are Pro-China people. meaning they agree with china’s rules and ideology and they support china. and those people wearing black are people who are against the extradition bill
basically why hong kong people are against the extradition bill is because hong kong losing its freedom of right and speech if the bill gets accepted with china this won’t just affect people in hong kong but everyone around the world can be affect.
you can be transferring flight in hong kong and be arrested and sent to china. there’s a 99 % that you won’t get a fair trial in china
how the bill was brought up to light was because last year a murder happened in taiwan, where this hong kong guy killed his fiancé in taiwan but he flew back to hong kong and confess his crimes but hong kong couldn’t arrest him because he did the crime in taiwan (1)
(2) and there’s no extradition bill with taiwan therefore hong kong couldn’t arrest him. that’s how the extradition bill was brought to light to allow criminals to be face the trial in china (including macau, taiwan)
there’s be protest against the extradition bill since march of this year and the biggest protest included 2 million hong kong people against the bill. however it just the bill got suspended instead of remove officially. reasons why there’s are still more protests going on.
then recently people started to wear black to symbolize/ a statement that they are against the bill and against china. around 11 at night on the 21st white shirted people started to bring sticks in the mtr in yuen long and started to attack people getting of the station.
and why hong kong people are so passionate about fighting against this bill is because hong kong is a special administrate region. yes we are part of china but we have our own set of rules. under the one county, two system since 1997 and this would end after 50 years in 2047
china promise they won’t affect hong kong in those 50 years however if this bills happens it’s basically going against the one country two system policy. people needs to remember china is a communist country whereas hong kong is a democracy region. these two place are under two
different system. and hong kong people we are fighting what we have and what we were promised.
basically those white shirted people r traids / gangs members.
and there’s video of them talking to the police, not being arrested and (being told which direction to attack)

(in brackets is just a rumors not 100% sure)
