Let's talk about #Lupron.
Lupron is the most commonly prescribed "puberty blocker" given to gender non-conforming children.

It's also given to convicted pedophiles to chemically castrate them.
Lupron injection was first approved by the FDA for treatment of advanced prostate cancer in 1985.

However, it proved to be ineffective for treating end stage prostate cancer until it was later used in combination with other pharmaceuticals.
In spite of this, Lupron is a top-earning drug for its manfacturers, formerly developed by Takeda-Abbott Pharmaceuticals.

Why should a relatively ineffective drug for end-stage prostate cancer be so profitable?

The majority of profits come from off-label uses.
An off-label use describes a drug being prescribed for a condition it hasn't been approved to treat. Lupron was only approved for prostate cancer.

In the case of all off-label uses in the US, including "puberty blockers", patients sign away the right to legal recourse.
In addition to use as a "puberty blocker", Lupron is prescribed for a myriad of other off-label uses such as:

- IVF
- uterine fibroids
- endemetriosis

How did a drug developed specifically for men come to make most of its profit from off-label uses for women and children?
Though proponents of the puberty blocker use love to say the effects are reversible, there is no evidence to support this claim. On the contrary, in a report submitted by TAP to the FDA in 1998, the company acknowledged its effects were not reversible.

It should be noted at this point that women who are given Lupron injections for commercial #surrogacy IVF are also told the effects - like putting the body in a state of menopause - are reversible in spite of TAP knowing this isn't always true. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/lupron-side-effects_b_3442030
To summarize up to this point:

A drug developed for terminal prostate cancer failed to turn a profit for its makers, who then bribed doctors to find off-label excuses to prescribe it to women and GNC children.

In men, Lupron is only used for cancer & castrating sex offenders.
Only one condition that Lupron is prescribed for as an off-label use is fatal: breast cancer.

Never mind that it was developed and approved specifically for end-stage prostate cancer.

Is a child's refusal to conform to gender really as serious as terminal cancer?
Taking a pause for a little while. There is still a lot more I want to say.
Lupron is only given to men as a last resort for terminal illness (it's ineffective) and to castrate sex offenders.

For men, Lupron is a punishment.

For women and children, it's marketed as a treatment.
For infertility, for egg harvesting, for being gender non-conforming.
Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a fatal condition brought on by using #Lupron during #IVF and #surrogacy.

"There has been a 40% rise in hospital admissions with severe OHSS in UK fertility clinics in 2015. This is an extraordinary statistic."

Lupron's own website declares the drug unsafe for use during pregnancy. It's also known it remains in the body ("extended use"). Yet it's used for #IVF and #surrogacy. When is using a hormone to induce pregnancy NOT using a drug during pregnancy?
Just ten years ago puberty blockers were given to autistic children to "cure" them. Medical community condemned this abuse. Yet link between autism / gender dysphoria has been known since 80s. Lupron is still being experimentally used on autistic children. https://www.chicagotribune.com/lifestyles/health/chi-autism-lupron-may21-story.html
Out of a study involving 292,572 children, those with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) were over four times as likely to be diagnosed with a condition indicating gender dysphoria.

It's recently come to my attention that @netflix has been promoting the transing of children, and that they are in part owned by the makers of Lupron. This is a horrific breach of ethics

Perhaps the correct term is not ownership, but a mutual investor, and therefore a shared financial interest.
The following is a list of the 20 largest settlements reached between pharmaceutical companies and the US government; the makers of Lupron are listed twice: TAP (Takeda-Abbott, Lupron, 2001) and Abbott Labs (Depakote, 2012). Notice "fraud" and"kickbacks."
It seems peculiar that the #2 recipient of payments for the promotion of Lupron was a pediatric endocrinologist, given that "precocious puberty", affects less than 1% of pop.
Remember, TAP settled for fraud for bribing doctors to prescribe it off-label.
Lynne Millican was a career admission unit, psychiatric nurse until physically disabled by Lupron. Presently, she serves as a resource for, and (as able) advocates on behalf of, Lupron victims through her website, the Lupron Victims Hub.

I said earlier that Lupron has only been FDA-approved for terminal cancer, however, it was also approved for endometriosis.
After it failed to effectively treat prostate cancer, it was pawned off on women. A drug designed for terminally ill men foisted on women and children.
Posted to a Lupron victims support group. The comments are filled with people saying they've experienced nearly all of them, even still do a decade later.

Lupron is poison ☠️ not a harmless "puberty blocker" for children.
