One of the greatest evidence of arrogance in Christianity is the monopolization of the word “God.” That word is simply a title that all deities share. There are thousands of Gods in the world; DOES YOUR GOD NOT HAVE A NAME?

You have bullied other religions into accepting the lesser status of “god” (emphasis on small ‘g’) because you feel they are inferior and your big sky daddy is the only one deserving of a big ‘G.’

But the moment the tables turn, you start crying foul and throwing tantrums all over the place screaming about disrespect. What exactly do you know about disrespect?

Your religion is marred by a bloody history of genocide, oppression, slavery, racism, massacres, imprisonments - all targeted at people who dared question your beliefs or who simply chose not to align with your belief system.

You talk down on the Gods of my ancestors, burn down their shrines, banish and ostracize people who practice their own traditional beliefs, insult our masquerades, reject your own children when you suspect they are “possessed” by the spirit of another deity that is not yours.

Your Bible is filled with gruesome accounts of the Israelites being sent on wars and missions to murder and take over cities who do not accept your God as supreme. Fuck that; remember the Spanish Inquisition? Or the Great Crusades?

What exactly do you know about disrespect?

You are allowed to wear your rosaries and chaplets freely everywhere you go and erect your cross and graven images but you express disgust when a traditionalist wears their talisman or erects their own Ikenga in front of their own house.

You discriminate against anybody who recognizes and worships traditional deities. You oppress them and mock them everyday. You look down on them for being “lost souls.” You kick them off the bus of your salvation.

You are allowed to carry your holy water and olive oil but you refuse to accept that they are just as valid as the “charms” of the people you cast and bind everyday.

What exactly do you know about disrespect? Your religion is the greatest bully that history has ever known.

There are over 4000 religions in the world and thousands of Gods who are worshipped. What level of arrogance makes you feel attacked whenever “God” is mentioned? What is it with your religious fragility? Are the other Gods not valid too? Why do you always feel attacked?

What sort of arrogance and self-aggrandizement makes you feel that your religion or deity is the only special one to whom the big ‘G’ should be ascribed? Is this not some type of madness or something?

We have had enough of y’all’s nonsense and we’re having no more of it. If you feel that other Gods are beneath yours and deserve a small ‘g’, then stop throwing tantrums when other religions also view your big sky daddy as inferior and ascribe a small ‘g’ to him.

After all, everybody’s religion is supreme in their own eyes; nobody has monopoly of religious supremacy and everybody has equal rights to rever their God above all other Gods.

Also, the word “God” is a title. DOES YOUR GOD NOT HAVE A NAME???
