"After SH the idea was to do something different. When the role of Penny Dreadful came up... well, that was exactly the role I was looking for. It had something that convinced me, besides the fact that the show was written by John Logan, who also wrote the original show."
"For me the key was to do something that was really different and this show, this particular character, is something I've never done before and I have to admit that it scares me a little."
"What has been said online is all I can reveal. There is much more below, a hidden side of the character that will be partially revealed in the first episode and another part in episode 4."
"Getting into Kurt's head is something I'm already struggling with now. It's really difficult. It is also difficult to explain, since I cannot say much about him. His mentality is something totally new to me."
