no one asked but i’m gonna make a thread of my favorite parts from each ballads 1 song cause i love this album dearly <3
1. attention - the beginning is very soft and pretty and i think the part before the drop is neat!
2. slow dancing in the dark - this song is my babie, i honestly can’t choose a specific part but here’s my favorite part of the music video :DD
3. test drive - i really like how his voice sounds here and the lyrics just be hittin
4. wanted u - this song hurts ,,, also @AlexBRTHR went ham on the guitar solo

5. can’t get over you - this song is so FUN!! please the ad libs,,, wtf does YA. OO. mean? just take my money sir
6. yeah right - “yeah you livin right now, you don’t ever pick sides” along with “im overthinking my pride” are lyrics that i really like

8. no fun - he’s actually not mumbling in this song <3 this is another fun one despite the name HSKDJKSJDK also anytime i listen to it i remember the silly dancing he did on tour ^0^
9. come thru - a lot of ppl don’t like this song cause of the autotune but i actually really enjoy the way he uses it here
10. r.i.p. ft trippie redd - joji’s part is good. it’s dark and pretty. that’s all i’ll say about this one

12. i’ll see you in 40 - i would put this song in its entirety if i could. it gives me so much comfort. the thought of him pulling out his uke to record the beginning + end? that brings me happiness. the best way he could’ve ended it imo!
