Taking role as Non-Racist is too passive & accepting. It allows you to say that you are taking part in something while still having comfortable ties with racist ideas. Becoming Anti-Racist is more than radical, it's necessary. Socially implanted issues are not going to change
until we are ACTIVELY against it. That looks like calling racism out. That looks like separating yourself from racist people & activities. That looks like believing the stories/explanations of black, brown, & indigenous people. Seeking out opportunities to empower them. Doing the
required research to understand the history of how institutions & systems were intentionally created to discredit, dehumanize, and abuse black, brown, & indigenous people.
