Since Shawn said that he’s been researching about charities or getting information about what’s happening in the world, i’ve decided to make a thread (summarized) about Venezuela’s situation❤️🇻🇪please share this, it’ll mean a lot! - @ShawnMendes
Firstly, i’m from Venezuela, and this topic touches my heart so much. Venezuela is passing through its hardest and worst situation ever, more than 5 million of venezuelans (including me) have left their country looking for a better place to live, and for a better future +
Due to a dictatorship that Venezuela is passing through, people is dying because there’s no food, no medicines, people can’t access to the basic sources, more than the 78% of the population suffer from malnutrition (including kids, adults, and elder people) +
It’s so sad to see people eating from the garbage, looking for water or food because they can’t afford it. The kids and teenagers can’t go to the school because they don’t have food in their houses, and because of that, they faint because of hunger +
There’s no food or supplies at the hospitals. People who suffer from cancer, HIV, diabetes, hypertension, kidney diseases etc can’t have their medical treatments because there aren’t any medicines in there, or if so, they’re highly expensive and most of the people +
can’t afford them. Also the insecurity: people gets killed or robbed everyday and it’s so sad that this is happening. One of the most beautiful and richest countries of latin america and the world is passing through this awful and sad situation +
As i mentioned, more than 5 million of Venezuelans have left their country looking for a better future, and I’m talking about people who leave the country by feet, they walk for weeks until their destiny. People who have passed through hard situations in some countries, +
starting from 0, having nothing. Families are separated, hopes are less than yesterday, but, as the Venezuelan people have been characterized for being humble and solidarity, a lot of angels have created some charities and foundations to help the people of Venezuela, +
here are just a few of them:

•GotasEVzla
•Ayuda y Libertad
•Alimenta la Solidaridad
•Comparte por Una Vida
