Remember in the #vampirediaries when they had Bonnie date Elena's little brother? Then they had him cheat on her...with a ghost. Smgdh. Then they had her sacrifice her life later on, bringing him back from the dead, after he died on a quest for Elena's stupid cure.

Anyways, that show literally treated bonnie like just the " magical negro" there to make things easier for the ***** characters.

To note, Bonnie Bennett is a character who was white in the book, who was reimagine and played by s beautiful talented black actress on the show. It's sort of like Iris now on the flash tbh

As for other characters in relation to Bonnie, Elena was kinda crappy friend. She cared & ment well, but she was frequently making stupid choices, which then required Bonnie to sacrifice something to fix.

Honestly what kind of friends dont realize their friend is actually dead?

On that note, I recall, when people where shipping Bonnie with kai, as some kinda twisty hate lust, thing I guess and, plec shot that ship with some BS claim of Bonnie being to pure for whatever, which was the same crap she said when people shipped Bonnie with Damon.

And while, alot of the make characters in vampire diaries, were actually crap, idiots, too young of toxic it says something that the other girls on the show were allowed to be sexual and desire by guys pushed as misunderstood hottie, but then-

-They desexualize Bonnie or claim shes too pure to be desired by these guys. Option 2, they give her a ship with Elenas brother or kill all her LI.
And we didn't even get to see her relationship with Enzo evolve before they got together & he died.

They had time for 60 bigillian redemption stories for Damon, and we hardly got to see Bonnie interact with her own family, cause they were always busy having her play magical negro. Honestly, i hate to say it but I wonder if #bonniebennet had been ***** character if that would-

Yes I know Elena was the main character on the show btw, but lbr, Elena whole storyline was static. It was always about the love triangle. Even the doppelganger thing wore thin. Elena was basically the main character because we are told that she is and two beautiful vampire guys-

- Are in love with her... because she looks like katherine. This is a whole thing in itself, were we are left to ask how genuine the attraction the guys feel to Elena is cause alot of times...

Meanwhile Bonnie had so much potential, descendant from the most powerful line of-

And then there was that mess where the show wanted to make sure Bonnie wasnt too powerful, so they turned and decided to claim, that the Mickelson mom was the most powerful of witches...

Bitch what? If she was so super powerful, why did she have to tap into the Bennett line for-

-the powers needed to stop the original vampires? Answer. Cause Bennett witch are the most powerful perhaps. This fact was widely acknowledged unknowledge to be true until the wanted Bonnie to be less powerful...

To be fair, the writers problably struggle cause, Bonnie was basically the only black character (actually shes really the only WoC at all) in the main cast and so they were busy trying to have her be the rep for a multitude of conflicting things, while making sure she didnt-

-inadvertently become more popular than the other women on the show. But I digress...

I dont even have time to get into the dead LGBT characters or the fact that almost every black character on this show was a witch and I believe all of them except Bonnie have died ( actually bonnie died 3 times but you know...)
