I'm gonna make a Twitter thread of my #positive Canucks predictions. Y'all can mute it if you can't handle the positivity.
Brock Boeser: He will pot 40 goals. Calling it here. He will be ready to slay this season.
Bo horvat: The Captain. He's going to trend up from a 50-60 point player to an 80 point player.
Elias Pettersson: He's not going to have a sophomore slump. He's going to become an 80+ point player. Maybe close to 90.
J.T. Miller. He will go back and forth between the first and second lines. He's going to mesh well with both centres and be a solid 50-60 point player
#ShotgunJake. You guys will be taking at least 20 shots this season. I'm calling it.
Tanner Pearson: he will solidify his spot with Boho.

Adam Gaudette: Edges out Sutter for 3C. Pots in 15-20 goals.
Your bottom 6 will consist of players continually contributing to the penalty kill. The kill will not take a hit compared to last season. Eriksson solidifies himself as a 3rd liner putting up reasonable numbers.
Goldobin: finds his footing in the NHL. Whether it's on the 2nd or 3rd line, he figures it out.
Let's move onto defence.

Edler: As usual plays like a horse, crunches those minutes and helps to mentor the young guns. Matches career year in point totals.
Tyler Myers: he will be that heavy point shot on the PP. Trigger man will have a career year on a high octane power play.
Quin Hughes: whoever his defensive partner is will benefit from him. You're looking at your 2019-2020 Calder winner. 40 points I'm calling it.
Tanev/Stecher: Both will play full seasons. Stetcher takes a step up, Tanev will bounce back. Shutdown defensemen.
Let's get to the Goalies.

Markstrom: Will likely continue to put up decent numbers as a goalie. But I will say that Demko may edge him out by the end of the season. Canucks Goalie controversy #7820234
Alright finally the prospects:

Dipietro: he will easily take over the net in Utica. My prediction he will be the starter by second half of the season.
Kole Lind: puts himself back on the map and into lineup discussions. We will see him get called up.

Jonah Gadjovich: he will solidify himself in the AHL. Future 3rd or 4th line player in the NHL
Olli Juolevi. By season's end. I'm calling it that he will be in the NHL.
We have a bunch of prospects not in the AHL or NHL so all those guys will take steps forwards. I see next year as a pivotal moment for this franchise. No more "let's see what happens".

Things WILL happen.
