My wife is in a small group for mom’s and apparently the book they’re reading says that if women don’t have sex with their husbands every 72 hours their husbands will be more likely to cheat. This is very, very not good.

First of all, this puts enormous, unnecessary pressure on women, making them feel as though their husbands fidelity is their responsibility. Let me be absolutely clear: it is not.

Second, this diminishes and distorts sex itself, making it an obligation and manipulative tool.

Finally, it actually presents an insulting picture of men, as if we are insatiable horndogs with no self control at all. “Ladies, they’re gonna screw somebody, so make sure it’s you.”

This is all garbage.
