Now that it's been seen, I can post my latest painting project! An acrylic of a Hiroshige cat print, made as a gift for my advisor. I swapped the white cat for her tortie & changed some details. Wish I could have spent more time on it, but I kind of rushed before I left town.

For size reference, here is a nugget not minding his business. I also had to clean up some paint paws in this process.

Looking at this thread again I realize that I never said what details I changed! Aside from the color of the cat, I changed the small bowl on the right into a water container my advisor carries everywhere, and the set of hair pins (left) into an old document (historian props!).
