Feb. 5, 2019. when i first started shaving. naturally there wasn’t any hair the first few times i did it but now there are these little black sprouts that are pokey and uncomfortable but hey progress!

Jan. 17, 2019. the first public pic i ever posted of me in my binder.

no one ever really talks about the negatives to this coin, so here’s some hard truths. my skin kept getting progressively worse the further along i was to the point where it hurt so bad i couldn’t touch my face. today it’s better but nowhere near what it once was.

there have been really, really, really hard moments in this journey. i have hit rock bottom & sky high a million times. it’s a constant up and down motion and though i’m grateful and appreciative and so happy i am who i am now, i know how much i’ve had to give up to get here.

voice-wise, i’ve had to give up a falsetto i was thoroughly comfortable with and a soprano voice that got me PLACES. but also i gained an incredibly low register i never thought i’d be able to hit. i’m training to get it back up again:
