ASTROLOGY & SPIRITUAL BOOKS: thread

I’ll be updating this thread with all of the books I use/will be using/recommend! I love to read, even if it’s just to learn about a topic. I’m currently in a different state than home but when I get home, I’ll post all the ones I have there.

These are some beginner beginner books. Like if you are just starting out, get these! ESPECIALLY the only astrology book you’ll ever need. That’s the important one!

If you really want to understand astrology and want textbook style books, these ones!

I suggest diving into special TOPICS when you’re ready. I’m diving into these at the moment and learning about everything IN DEPTHS. On the way is a book about Saturn, as well as one about Chiron, Midpoints, Houses and Eclipses. “special topics in astrology” has great books

Online resources I’ve used are: cafeastrology but honestly, I’ve hit a wall & there’s no depth, so I think after you’ve hit that wall, it’s time to get more books. I find that the actual astrology textbooks and reading astrology from way back when, is much better than a website.

There’s also http://Astro.com  which is really great!!! But still, books are definitely my thing.

Spiritual books to help you on your journey:

I love ALL of these. The first two are by a medium and she basically reaffirmed everything I already knew.

I love the archangel books bc they include ways to call upon them. They include almost all deities.

I don’t advocate for using magick or spells unless you understand the power of words & know how to protect yourself. The akashic one is cool if you’re wondering what it is!

These are some more in depth books! I have them on the Kindle for iPhone app!! they also come in book form but I didn’t feel like waiting 24 hours for amazon prime to get here LOL

Astrology book~ the twelve houses
The other two are rootwork books. Ive been guided to delve into my African roots as well as Native American roots (no, not no damn 1%). I’m learning about both of those things currently & there’s someone I’m supposed to find

Books you will never catch me without! I know a lot are Philosophy but astrology and philosophy really go hand in hand and obviously with spirituality, I like to learn everything about the practices and religions
