2/n Ambedkar writes in beginning of Chapter X, pp 215, that the Indian Muslim society is no different when it comes to social evil.

3/n Ambedkar mentions on page 220, that Muslims have all evils of “Hindus” & even something more.

4/n Ambedkar writes following wrt to “Caste System in Islam”:
“Everybody infers that Islam must be free from slavery and caste. Regarding slavery nothing needs to be said. It stands abolished now by law. But while it existed, much of its support was derived from Islam..”

5/nAmbedkar further writes: “ But if slavery has gone, caste among Musalmans has remained. “

“Azral” are untouchables in Islam.

6/n Ambedkar then talks about the system of untouchability in Muslims. After giving account of “evil Untouchability” in Panchayat system of Bengal he asserts:

Can you notice, Muslims had similar number as of Hindus though their population was only 12-16% of total Hindu population.
