first off, many people say that shes fully white which simply isn’t true! this is what she said in one of her videos

she is also from the asian part of russia, as she is from sakhalin island
regarding the rumours of lana getting plastic surgery to look more korean, heres a photo of her from her childhood and from now. as you can see, she looks basically the same (except for ageing a little obvs)
people call her a koreaboo all the time and to that i only have a tiny bit to say; she does not fit anything written here
she speaks fluent korean and doesn’t mock the culture whatsoever so please stop calling her that
also i know that many people criticise her stages and thats okay, but please do keep in mind that she just debuted and is nervous while performing! every rookie experiences that. she trained for 2 years and does her best
i’d also like to add that it’s okay if you don’t like her! just dont send her unnecessary hate

also i want to clarify that yes, im aware of the white privilege that helped her become an idol but it isn’t inherently her fault (sorry if i worder it incorrectly, english isn’t my first language)
