Black women are not allowed to be introverts in professional settings and that shit is draining.

Before I mute this, I’m glad we can finally engage in this conversation. But there’s a lot of misinterpretation and pure ignorance when it comes to introvert personality traits.
1. Having introvert personality traits does not mean you are depressed or went through trauma....

...nor does it mean you are anti-social or not a team-player.
2. You can be BOTH and introvert and extrovert (like myself) I just need my space
3. People with introvert character traits work better when they are alone or have breaks throughout the day to process or simply chill.

4. Your management and team needs to understand there are different personality traits and once you understand how each person works your team will be much stronger.
5. Black women that show a hint of their introvert characteristics are automatically deemed“the angry black woman”
