They said I& #39;m ugly. My heart broke into 1000 pieces. Tears raced down my cheeks and I wondered, what does ugly really mean? I didn& #39;t know, so I decided to ask the moon: "Dear, moon, what does it mean to be ugly?" But the moon didn& #39;t know because it& #39;s a word only humans use...
The next time someone says you are ugly, before feeling sad, think about how this word was created. Did someone just wake up one day and decided that natural things such as acne, flat boobs, fat thighs, a crooked nose, stretch marks, yellow teeth, will make you ugly?
It& #39;s just so stupid to me that we all agreed to create, a word that only hurts people& #39;s emotions for being normal, that only brings sadness, pain and hate, that is only there to make the world a worse place? Isn& #39;t it just stupid?
Take a moment to think about it, if we believe that our hair is ugly, we will buy a wig or hair extensions, if we think our lips are ugly because they are too small, we will undergo plastic surgery, if we think our eye color is ugly we will buy contact lenses to change it.
If we think these stretch marks on our bellies are ugly we will buy an ointment to get rid of them, if we consider our body fat ugly we will undergo liposuction, if we believe our teeth are ugly because they are too yellow we will buy tooth bleaching products.
We believe that certain characteristics are ugly and we give money to change them. Many people benefit from the fact that we hate our bodies, how could they make money if we didn& #39;t want to pay them to change our appearance? THIS is the reason why the word UGLY exists.
I think that we should change the meaning of this word a little bit. Shouldn& #39;t we consider ugly those who bully others, those who sexually assault others, who kill and hurt others, who actually do things that make our world a bad place to live in?
There is not a single person on this world, who is ugly because of how they look. Their personality is what makes someone repulsive and unpleasant. Please keep that in mind and don& #39;t tear yourself apart every day because of those pimples on your face. Sincerely @myselfcaretipss
