chea makes soufflé pancakes: a thread
Today’s menu consists of Japanese style fluffy pancakes topped with whipped cream and assorted fruits
step 1 making the batter: separate egg yolks and and egg whites
into the egg yolks add flour balking powder milk and vanilla and whisk until incorporated
begin whipping egg whites gradually adding sugar until you get stiff glossy peaks
add your meringue into your batter and continue gently folding until you use all your meringue
oil your pan (not butter bc butter burns) and wipe off the excess with a paper napkin. with your heat on low, slowly ladle in your batter and cook until the sides are dry.
meanwhile cut up some fruit of your choice and whip some heavy cream with some vanilla and confectioner sugar
remove pancakes from heat and add your toppings (I dusted some powdered sugar) none of these pictures turned out okay but it was good pls take my word for it
