So watched Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor was brilliant. But the biggest takeaway was how the fuck can Bollywood be fine with a fucking man child type of a character who basically didn't let his girlfriend even breathe and give fucking ultimatums.
Kabir Singh through the movie has no control of his temper, people didn't love him they feared him. His whole relationship with Preeti looked like it was built on fear, he isolated her from everyone in uni and she had no one else but him.
When it came to marriage talks, he couldn't even fucking control his tharak once and made out with Preeti after which their dad caught them. It obviously pissed off the conservative dad, but his whole reaction after that made the situation worse.
When he couldn't handle the rejection, he became an alcoholic, did drugs, went to the point of no return.

How is any of this healthy?
The movie made Kabir Singh's anger look like a cool thing which isn't cool. It was fucking scary and over the top. He couldn't handle the smallest of things, these are people you don't want to be around.
Bollywood do better with your characters.
