Sandman Mystery Theatre by Matt Wagner and Guy Davis
Firearm by James Robinson and Cully Hamner, a pre Starman Robinson book where the setting is as important as the characters
Both the end of Stormwatch and the beginning of the new by Ellis, Raney and more. It was a little before it's time.
DMZ, this hit two of my buttons, survival war stories and design work.

Port of Earth by Zach Kaplan, Andrea Mutti, and team
Xmen vs Avengers by Roger Stern and Marc Silvestri, my intro into the Avengers and the 80s X-Men. I had no idea what was going on and I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.
Flinch by Various Creators
WildC.A.T.s by Various Creators, the Robinson, Casey, and Moore runs were the best
Jonathan Hickman's Marvel Work with various artists
That's #39.
And for Guy Copes, #40... X-Men X-Tinction Agenda, my introduction to Jim Lee's X-Men as a kid when I didn't have every issue. I hunted down each part and loved them all.
41 - Chase by D. Curtis Johnson, JH Williams III, and Mick Gray
42 - Starman, possibly my favorite series of all time, by James Robinson, Tony Harris and others.
numbering these now for my sanity.
More tomorrow if this gets more likes, if not, maybe I'll still list more...
One thing I noticed, I love a lot of @KurtBusiek comics.
43 - Kyle Rayner Green Lantern by Ron Marz, Daryl Banks, Greg Tocchini and others.
44- Losers by Andy Diggle and Jock
45- Hellblazer by a ton of people, but particularly Ennis/Dillon, Carey/Dillon/Frusin/Manco, and Milligan/Camuncoli at the end.
Beautiful Canvas by Ryan K. Lindsay and Sami Kivelä
47 - Shadow of the Bat: The Last Arkham by Grant/Breyfogle
48 - Byrne's Fantastic Four
JLA by Morrison/Porter/various
We can't stop at 49!
50 - Spectacular Spider-Man by JM DeMatteis and Sal Buscema, specifically their Green Goblin stories.
51 - Transmetropolitan by Ellis and Robertson
I have 130 more to recommend that I came up with last night and that's just off the top of my head!
That said, I'll check back later...gotta work.
52 - 52
See what I did there?
In all honesty, reading this collected won't be the same as reading it week to week. It was truly an achievement, from the production to the actual story itself. Every story lands, and given the fact that there were multiple writers, multiple artists, and multiple characters...
combined with a flash forward on most of the books and having to have them line up, AND it's good. It made Booster a great character again, it introduced Batwoman, it turned Montoya into The Question, it even did something interesting to fix the Dinbys.
Also, this book came out at the end of the blogging days, so there was constant talk about each chapter, looking for clues, trying to figure out where they were headed and how it would line up with the books. It was interactive and fun and just WORKED.
I'm not sure if we'll have a weekly series that works this well again at the Big Two, but we'll see.
53 - Shade the Changing Man by Peter Milligan/Chris Bachalo/Coleen Doran and more

While everyone was paying attention to Gaiman, Moore, and Morrison...Milligan was over here working magic.
54 - Fell by Warren Ellis and Ben Templesmith and Casanova by Matt Fraction/Fabio Moon/Gabriel Ba

I group these together as they were part of an experiment to create a more affordable comic by producing a lower page count than normal, but increasing the density of the story.
55 - Tom Strong

My favorite of the ABC line, also Sprouse is amazing.
56 - Uncanny X-Force by Remender, Opena, and a bunch of other talented artists

This series changed the idea of X-Force and made it this high continuity crazy idea book that really made it impossible to go back to what it was before.
57 - We3

I didn't expect to cry so much reading this book, but I did expect to see crazy ideas and amazing layouts. That's what I got.
58 - Magnus by Higgins and Fornes

Speaking of changing a series into something altogether new, Higgins and Fornes took Magnus Robot Fighter and updated it for the times with Magnus. I want more.
59 - Silver Surfer by Ron Marz and Ron Lim

This is the series that set most of Infinity Gauntlet up and made the Marvel Cosmic characters popular. Silver Surfer was THE book to have in the 90s if you cared about the big goings on in the 616
60 - Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Dominion by Masmune Shirow

These books, along with Akira which we'll probably get to, were my introduction to Manga. Plus those Appleseed editions with the Art Adams covers are THE BEST.
61 - Southern Cross by Becky Cloonan, Belanger, and team

This is sci-fi horror done right, with the perfect team of creators that just gel on all levels.
62 - Omega Men by Tom King, Barnaby Bagenda (who keeps showing up on my fave books), Ig Guara, Tony Cypress and more.

This book wasn't what I thought it was about. It started out as a book about rebels and ended up being a treatise on power, how you need it to save, & sacrifice.
63 - Jason Aaron's Ghost Rider run with Tony Moore and multiple artists

This book is awesome. Every time you think it couldn't get crazier and more fun, it doubles down. And wins. I love the fact that there are tons of Ghost Riders. So much fun.
64 - Legionaries by Waid, McCraw, Moy and by Tom and Mary Bierbaum and Chris Sprouse

I love the old Levitz/Giffen Legion, but this is my Legion.
65 - Superman: Exile by Dan Jurgens, Jerry Ordway, George PĂ©rez, Roger Stern, Kerry Gammill, Dan Jurgens, Mike Mignola, Jerry Ordway, George Perez, Curt Swan

First of all... That talent! Second. If anything good came out of the Superman kills Zod story it's Exile.
66 - Abnett and Lanning's Cosmic Marvel books...All of them.

They, along with a ton of great artists reinvigorated the Marvel Cosmic books.
67 - The Wake by Snyder and Murphy

What starts as an underwater horror movie quickly becomes so much more.
68 - Zero by Ales Kot and various artists

Zero is a spy thriller that really explores the cost of violence. It's unlike any other book I've read before and had great art from Tradd Moore and others
69 - Planetes by Makoto Yukimura

Planetes is a great hard sci go book about trash collectors in space in 2075, but that just serves as a vehicle to explore the characters and how they live.
70 - Hitman/Demon by Ennis/Mcrea

Ennis and Mcrea have the power to tell the most human stories and really fully explore characters all while in the very next panel having a character called Dogwelder. I will never understand how they pull it off.
71 - Acme Novelty Library by Chris Ware

This comic is beautiful, just as purely a design object it's worth it's cost. The stories are good, though sometimes repetitive and tiresome, but mostly entertaining, but the design and layout...*chefs kiss*
72 - Maxwell's Demons by Deniz Camp and Vittorio Astone

Simply one of the most inventive and well thought out comics that I have ever read. Just about every panel of every page has a new idea embedded inside. This book encourages thought and multiple readings.
73 - Letter 44 by Soule and various artists

A letter is passed down from President to President, something is out there waiting for us in space. So begins the ramp up to get there, find out what it is, and still fend off political machinations and public outcry at home.
74 - Batman vs Predator by Dave Gibbons and the Kubert Bros.

Before there were a million of these crossovers there was just this one. Batman vs Predator, and the always prepared Batman got the shit kicked out of him and had to armor up. I loved it!
75 - Sandman by Neil Gaiman and everyone.

Do I really need to talk about how good this series is. How good the art is? How good the covers are? Just a complete package.
76 - Catwoman by Brubaker/Stewart/Various

The Catwoman series that redefined the character from a bad girl book to one of the best books at DC. A must read.
77 - Amazing Spider-Man by Roger Stern and JRJR

The whole Hobgoblin Saga was THE comic to read back when it came out. Stern and JRJR were at the height of their collaboration and they had just really started. They just started on top.
78 - Justice League America #38-40 (really the whole run, but this story especially) by Giffen/Dematteis/Hughes/Rubinstein.

Bwahahahaha, OH SHIT!
79 - Star Wars Dark Empire by Veitch/Kennedey

Before the prequels and before most of the books this was THE story of what happened to Luke and crew. One of the only ways to get your fix after the Marvel Comics. Veitch/Kennedey made a statement.
80 - Cable by Robinson/Casey/Ladronn (Cable Hellfire Hunt/Cable: The Nemesis Contract)

Robinson/Casey/Ladronn came on and changed the Cable book in a big way, it looked different, the story was different, and he had a supporting cast!
81- Global Frequency by Warren Ellis and various artists per issue.

This book was Ellis experimenting with a global Network of people that volunteer to be heroes.
82 - Strikeforce Morituri by Gillis/Anderson/Hudnall/Bagley

This series was before it's time: Aliens invade, humanity fights back by giving people superpowers, but they die in a year. We who are about to die salute you.
83 - Sensational Spider-Man by Todd Dezago and Ringo

This book. It was just pure fun. Every story. Every panel. Just fun. I don't care if it's Ben Reilly or Peter Parker, still fun.
84 - New Warriors by Fabian Nicieza, Evan Skolnic, Mark Bagley, Darick Robertson, and Patch Zircher

This was my teen superhero book back in the day. I always loved that it had a connection to the New Mutants, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hellions, and X-Force.
85- Cable and Deadpool by Nicieza/Zircher and more.

I didn't want to like this book. I thought throwing them together would ruin the characters. I was wrong. By the end of the series at #50 I was mad at Marvel for breaking them up. A great buddy team up comic!
JSA and Justice Society by Geoff John's and a variety of artists

This book modernized the JSA in a way that worked by making them leaders and mentors for the younger generation of heroes. It was the epitome of the dc legacy idea.
87 - Hourman by Tom Peyer and Mark Morales

The best thing to spin out of the wonderful DC One Million is Hourman. This book really caught people by surprise and delivered a great story over it's 25 issues. Plus it has Snapper Carr in it, DCs Rick Jones
I'll be continuing this soon, because why not? It's straight joy.
X-Force #15-43 by @FabianNicieza, @GregCapullo, and @TonyDanielx2 along with a couple of other artists.

This run was really the run that made the team. Until they took over, the book was full of action and excitement, but lite on characterization. Fabian and team changed that.
X-Force #44-81

While Fabian brought the characterization, the purple and gold and Road-Trip eras of X-Force by Adam Pollina, Jeph Loeb, and John Francis Moore, brought back the weirdness and family to the once New Mutants. The quirkiness fit this run and made it unique.
Batman: Black and White

This book contained the best short stories about Batman by the best names in the biz including one of my favorite stories by Matt Wagner and a short story from Ted McKeever which gets Batman and why he does what he does better than any story I've read.
Batman: Knightfall

This book was the payoff of the entire Batman and Detective run from the time Jason Todd died on to the end of this story. Batman goes off the deep end, getting more violent, untrusting, and overwhelmed with his enemies. Then Bane comes in. So well done.
Spirits of Vengeance

It was so nice having a horror line at Marvel at the time & this was DARK for Marvel. New York's underbelly was truly seedy, full of dark alleys, strip clubs, & crime. Ghost Rider, Spirits of Vengeance, Morbius, Darkhold, & Nightstalkers made up the line.
Looks like I owe another 8 books from this thread way back. Maybe I'll add to it again.
