We’re not going to have BTS, not like we do now. They’re not going to be in their glory days forever. I’m just wondering how many of you are going to regret having spent this incredible time complaining and fighting over tiny things when you could have been enjoying it. +
These AMAZING things are happening and I see people almost willfully ignore them in favour of focussing on some random negativity. When you look back in 10 or 20 years time at now and people say ‘Wow it must have been brilliant to have been a fan of BTS then,’ what will say?
‘Yeah them being accepted into the Recording Academy and breaking sales records and playing Wembley the first time was pretty cool but [X trivial drama] was going on so I was a distracted.’ That sounds ridiculous because it IS ridiculous. +
I think we’re all becoming more and more aware of BTS’ place in history but think about your own place too. What do you want your memories of this time to be? What stories do you want to tell? I really think some people are losing sight of the big picture and that’s a huge shame.
i firmly believe that whilst it’s not possible or appropriate to change or police everyone’s behaviour, being aware of your own words and behaviour is really important. However big or small your account is, what you say and do makes an impact.
You have an impact on everyone you come into contact to. You might not even realise it, but you have an impact on yourself too. If you want to see something change, make sure you start with yourself rather than blaming everyone else.
