Honestly at a loss of words for this announcement

SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom is definitely one of my all-time favorites and the world crafted in the game would make Hillenburg proud, I'm really glad a whole new generation of fans will get to experience such a gem

The only thing that concerns me is that Heavy Iron Studios isn't on-board as the lead developer for the remake, but considering Vicarious Visions and Toys for Bob did Crash and Spyro fine, I'm sure Purple Lamp Studios will do this game justice, especially knowing this material

All of my potential worries regarding the remaster have faded away instantaneously after seeing these screenshots

Apparently they're retooling concepts that were originally cut from the game too. I'm very, very excited.

I'd like to see these two games receive a remake in the future if Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated performs well and starts a trend

Scooby-Doo Night of 100 Frights was developed by the team that went on to make Battle for Bikini Bottom and Hit and Run just needs to happen
