This is how @palakzat changed my life with just a broadcast.

I got introduced to his broadcast in April 2018 via a LinkedIn connection who posted about him sending an article per day on WhatsApp, then named 'Read This Today'

I started reading his broadcasts regularly and got curious to know more about who he is - I thought he'd some biggie, but turns out he was my age, we both did schooling from same tier 3 town, he was a college drop out and still doing cool things than me.

He never compromised on the content & I came across 'Good side of Internet'. I started following authors, publications from which he used to share regularly.

On July 16, 2018 he dropped a bomb with his Broadcast #400. IMO, it was his best broadcast for me till date.

He shared his list of books & podcasts which he's going through.

I picked up Podcasts from that list:
- The Knowledge Project
- How I Built This
- Masters of Scale
- 99% Invisible

and never stopped listening to them. All of them were too informative having tons of learnings in each episode.

He used to emphasis on Twitter in his broadcasts regularly, I rarely noticed until September he sent 'Best Tweets of The Week' in his broadcast which had so many quality quotes/thoughts from different people. I planned to join Twitter game to avoid FOMO.

I read on last article of @ankitkr0 about finding 'That One Guy'.

I haven't met @palakzat yet, spoken to him over a phone call only 2 times, but I think he acted as 'That One Guy' for me. :)

Now, I write my own newsletter sharing quality content I find every week on the Internet. Articles I share get featured in Palak's broadcasts, too! :P

Broadcasts which he share nowadays, there are ~50% chances I've came across that content already.

It took ~1 year and 1 guy to set myself on the ambitious path.

I'll always be thankful to Palak for introducing me to this side of Internet & being stepping stones in my ambitious path! :))
