We don't create headlines that make us seem responsible for our of domestic violence rates even though the article shows NON-Natives are the problem

We aren't the ones suppressing data & studies that could help end the crisis, we're the ones lobbying for a change in the systems that created the #MMIWG crisis
...Even if it were true that Natives were inherently violent before the columbian-era invasions (studies of human remains, linguistics & more have proven it isn't) if that were a causative factor as racism lies/says it is then Europe would have a huge rape crisis but they don't
...Natives continue to work to end this crisis & help our daughters, mothers, sisters, cousins, aunties, friends & selves in many ways & on many fronts...

...This #MMIWG crisis isn't the result of the behavior of Natives or our cultures, it is the result of racism- both institutional bias & individual bias but it isn't just our problem
