DJ Swivel says after playing the harmonized vocals, “That’s kind of like how a lot of the vocals were built. And it’s Jungkook & then, they work with a writer in Korea named ADORA & she has some vocals on there as well.”

So the harmonies are made by Jungkook & ADORA. Credits

During the Q&A session, DJ Swivel was asked about the processed vocal chop in Euphoria, that is, whether it’s Jungkook original vocals or someone else’s.

He said, “That vocal chop is mostly her (Candace Sosa) but there is one layer of it which is #Jungkook.”

When asked whether he had to adjust his original work to match Jungkook’s key, DJ Swivel said JK is like a soprano rather than tenor, so the register & tone of Candace(who worked on demo) & JK matched & it worked perfectly. Then, he adds “I think I did pitch it up a half step.”

Asked whether Euphoria was written for any specific artist, DJ Swivel said it wasn’t initially written for any specific artist, nor was it for BTS or #Jungkook but he said, “I think he absolutely crushed the vocal and it was really the perfect vocalist for this type of record.”

Q When Jungkook sent his vocals to you, were they already processed? Did he have any tuning or compression done to it already?
A No. Oh, I’m sure they are tuned because I don’t have any autotune on this at all. So I would imagine that they tuned them. But they were unprocessed.
