I opened the door to see my wife fuming as she held a big rod.
I looked to my left and saw junior kneeling.

“What has junior done again?” I asked
She turned the laptop to my direction. I was shocked to see an endless thumbnail of porn videos

“I embarked on the 21day rule. The rule states that anything you keep doing consistently for 21 days becomes a habit and the best way to get rid of any habit is avoiding it for 21 days.”

“Did you achieve it at the first attempt?” Junior asked.

“hahahaha. Initially, going 3days without masturbating was like keeping a fish out of water for 3minutes or holding your breath for 90seconds. It was a gradual process. It took 2 years of several failed attempts to beat the 21days mark.”

“2 years!”

“Yeah. Another thing I observed was that the urges came whenever I slept alone or found myself in privacy. So at the expiration of my rent, I moved into the hostel where I shared rooms, bathroom and toilets with 3 to 4 roommates. The lack of privacy helped me.”

“Prayer. I joined scripture union. That’s where I gave my life to Christ and became very committed. That was where I met your mum. She was spirit filled and held the mantra of abstaining from premarital sex.

Whenever the urges came I saw it as an alert to start praying. Imagine praying with a boner. Weird.”

“with these steps I was able get rid of it completely. Till date the urge to masturbate never came.”
