Fansites: Very different reaction from K side & I side. K side is defending, supporting & encouraging FS, while I side mostly attack. Koreans r not dumb. They don’t support sasaengs. They don’t equate all FS as sasaengs. Fansite is part of Kpop culture. Who started it? Agencies.-

It was a symbiotic relationship that benefited agencies and FS. Some do turn into anti/sasaeng. To generalize all would be unfair. Just like ppl saying US citizens r morons 4 voting for Trump. Who do you think let these FS in? There are SO many huge cameras. If all agencies were-

Absolutely HATED FS, then the culture would have died. Arrest them all. But they won’t. Also, fans r hypocrites. They hate them but will be the first to go look at pics & videos. Fan cams also bring in a lot of GP. Look at the numbers on YT. Some promote better than agencies. -

If fans still hate FS. Block, don’t press like, rt, or buy. Don’t watch any of fancams on YT. If u see a FS problem notify ur agency. Mass email/tag them. Then wait to see if they put them on blocklist or take action. If agencies don’t, u have your answer. My guess is they won’t.

Also, many fans will never see their idols. Groups do not go to every single country & some don’t have funds. For them, FS is the only way to see their idols. FS play a part in bringing GP & keeping existing fans loyal w content. FS r 2nd largest promotion team after the agency.

Think w logic. BH is so quick to sue anyone 4 IP infringement. Book, mag w boys pics on it. Yet they haven’t sued any of FS. Why? They r so easy to find on twt. FS r selling merch! That is IP infringement. My opinion is to put FSs on a payroll & control their action w conditions.

FS vs Sasaeng: Sasaengs pry into idols personal life. Follow them everywhere not just airport or concerts. It’s their home, agency, restaurants, anywhere & everywhere. They stalk them not 4 pics or fancams but for info & try to get dirt on idols. FS at same airplane, same hotel-

IF they don’t intrude the idols I think are okay. If they go into idols rooms, grab personal belonging, stalking family members, getting their phone #, getting as much info on idol is sasaeng behavior. Their focus is more on the idol not pics & videos. Don’t think all FS do this.

If FS was all 4 personal gain, I don’t think K fans would support FS. They donate on behalf of idols, often PROMO their fav on LED billboards, wrapped bus 4 their b days, special events. GP sees it. Have u seen agency do it?Come on, you put FS fan cams/pic to attract locals.
