Korean Music Shows 
Okay so there are 6 Music Shows. The Show, Show Champion, MCountdown, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo. GOT7 do not attend The Show so we only have to worry about the other 5 Music Shows.
Each music show has their own unique way of counting the score at the end to decide the winner. The score is made up of things like number of Album sales, Digital streams, Online voting, MV views, etc. Let’s talk about voting first shall we?
How to vote on each Music Show

Once you have downloaded the Idol Champ app you can follow these steps to vote! You are able to vote 3 times a day so please remember to use all your votes everyday until voting closes!

For Mcountdown there are two other important ways to help! The first one is streaming the comeback stage! We need GOT7’s first performance on Mcountdown to have the most views out of anyone they could be nominated against so please stream it along with the music video!
Mcountdown also has Live Voting which happens while Mcountdown is airing!
Once you see that GOT7 is nominated you can text one of these numbers to vote by changing the timezone and region on your phone to South Korea.

Music Bank does not allow fans to vote but since Music Bank values digital streams more than any other music show please focus on keeping GOT7 high on Korean charts if you want them to win on Music Bank for at least 2 weeks!

INKIGAYO
Voting for Inkigayo happens on the Melon Aztalk app which international fans cannot access so we‘ll let K-Ahgases handle it!
What we can do is stream GOT7’s MV as much as we can before they are nominated because Inkigayo values YT streams more than other music shows!

Most groups can NOT be nominated in their comeback week on Music Shows so don’t be surprised when GOT7 is not nominated on the first 4 music shows they attend. They will be nominated in the week after that.
In the first week GOT7 is nominated Music Shows will be counting our first week sales and streams. As I explained previously our first week is when our sales and streams will be at their highest so 5 wins in our first week should be fairly achievable depending on our competition!
With Music Shows, the second week is the week we have to worry about because after the first week ends the scoring resets and will only count sales and streams made in the second week. Which is why it’s so important to continue streaming and buying albums in the second week!
As you can see from the criteria almost every Music Show counts Albums sales from Hanteo except for the last two Music Core and Inkigayo. This makes it harder to get wins on these two music shows because they value Digitals streams over Album sales.

Knowing who GOT7 is up against is very important for music shows. Try to educate yourself about other comebacks happening around GOT7’s promotion weeks. Researching their album sales and charting positions can help you gain a better idea of GOT7’s chances for wins.

Here is a comparison of one of our first week scores on Music Bank with Lullaby compared to our second week score. There’s a 4,428 point difference between the first and second week. We can do better
To win on both Music Core and Inkigayo in the second week is going to be our main struggle but if we can keep GOT7 high on the music charts we will be at our 10th win in no time!
