The IPCC was disbanded to welcome in the supposed new and improved IOPC, lol.

What’s really changed in how investigations are handled ?
They’ll say they’re investigating and come up with a bullshit excuse as to why the use of force was “necessary”. All these institutions know is how to protect their own. Time and time again we see this happen, but what has changed?
The officer under investigation (who was granted anonymity) “failed to follow Met police protocol”, but the ruling was an accidental death leaving a family with a dead son and no justifiable reason

Fuck IOPC & the Met Police.
How do you get found guilty of misconduct and have nothing happen?

Another case of an IOPC failure and the Met Police working above the law.
Regarding the death of Simeon Francis in police custody, the IOPC often take extremely long with investigations and tend to not inform the public with updates or information as frequently, unless you dig for it or pressure them.
Simeon Francis was found unresponsive in his cell on the 20th May but the @policeconduct published this statement just two days ago.

Keep asking questions about how Simeon Francis died in police custody nearly 1 month ago
10 months prior to Simeon Francis’ death in police custody, he was subjected to excessive force during an arrest by the same Devon and Cornwall Police. This raises even more questions about how he may have been treated the night of his arrest last month.
