Why do y’all even go to church week after week if you don’t plan applying what you have heard? The church is celebrating His resurrection yet continues to crucify him daily instead of their flesh.

Why are you still choosing to living in the bondage He died to free you from?
Have you ever thought to stop and think “Is what I am doing right now bringing me closer God?”

What are you even celebrating today? Because let’s be honest, you take his sacrifice for granted and abuse his grace DAILY.

Yet He is still knocking and still waiting
He says: come to me, give me your problems, I can handle them, I can give you peace

You say: nah I’m good, I don’t need you, I don’t want you, I can do it better by myself

You may not say this verbally but your actions and your heart posture does
Imagine it’s your wedding day and you are waiting for the love of your live to come down that aisle. You have been waiting sooo long for this amazing moment....

But it never happens. They leave you abandoned at the altar.
This is what we do to God daily. Every time we deny him and continue to live in sin, continue to disobey

We are no different from the mockers and the doubters.

Might as well dig another nail into his flesh
Every with all of this....

He is still waiting on you. Yes, you. With all of your mess, and dirt, and filth. He still sees value in you and desperately wants to have an intimate relationship with you. He has more patience to wait for you then you have opportunities to avoid him
Though his patience and his grace will never run out....

Time eventually will. When the window of opportunity closes for you to respond to his calling, how will you fare?
Yes, you need to repent and turn away from your sins. But let’s rethink repentance for a second.

Repentance is more than turning away from something... it’s turning TO something
It’s turning to a loving and gracious Father

It’s turning to peace in the midst of a storm

It’s turning to being secure in your identity and doing what you were created to do

It’s turning to living in all of eternity with your very best friend
Will you turn today?

Or will you crucify him again?

He will be waiting ever so patiently for your answer to this question.

Prayerfully, you just don’t wait until the wait is over...
