‼️Insecure Artists Guide on How to Take Down Your Stolen Artworks on Instagram‼️

Before we begin:
- spy mode: ON
- DO NOT interact with the reposter. You'll either get ignored or blocked
STEP 1

identify your stolen works, right click and open in new tab.
STEP 2
Copyright Report Form

go to this page https://help.instagram.com/contact/552695131608132

The form already give good explanations on each steps so you can easily follow them
STEP 3
Contact Information

some people doesn't like this part but you can't skip it.
STEP 4
Content That You Want to Report

since twitter limit their characters you need to rewrite the clarification message on your own. I copied it from http://ftpolice-project.tumblr.com/post/129339336336/link-to-the-report but modified it a bit. Feel free to reword the message.
STEP 5
Your Copyrighted Work(s)
STEP 6
Declaration
It's done!

You will receive an Intellectual Property Report email right after you sent the report. They will give you a complaint number.

After a few minutes or hours you will receive another email to inform you that your stolen works have been removed by Instagram team.
I first learned this guide from http://ftpolice-project.tumblr.com/post/129339336336/link-to-the-report a long time ago. I'm so grateful for the lesson

Those reposters will receive a message that one/some of their posts were removed due to violating a third-party’s rights but Instagram won't tell who's the reporter.
Japanese version of this report guide.

(which how i learnt the new instagram report system 😂 following the instruction full of kanji with my dull japanese) https://twitter.com/_superspicy/status/963417177830277120
sometimes I recognize some artworks from Japanese artists I know on Instagram and it hurts me because I know they mostly never allow reposting. And they're too shy to talk to the reposters because "they're not good at English" I hope that guide above will help them.
Facebook also have the exact same report system as Instagram.

Read original post's thread for guide.

(you can use instagram clarification message. I did it once and it worked) https://twitter.com/TheArtBond/status/940326233442869248
Not all artists are mad when people repost their artworks.
And certainly not all artists are fine when people repost their artworks.

Especially when those reposters add crazy/unnecessary/offensive bits to their artworks or on the repost's caption. Yes it hurts us.
Amazing video (as always) 💗 https://twitter.com/luludraws/status/1110216855648522240

I want to add more about few example of how bad and desperate those reposters are. This one is better than the one I used for making this report guide (they removed my watermark and the don’t repost sign)
Mostly they got it from pinterest but who knows https://twitter.com/_superspicy/status/1074693803309641729?s=21
