Bit of talk in the Fintwit about mental health.

In no way am I down playing the need for professional assistance in regard to clinical / medical depression. Imbalances of chemicals in the brain can require and benefit from medical / medication assistance.
2)

That being said,
Some antedotes that have helped myself in this journey we call the human life, is to remember you are not your thoughts.

The mind is litterally mad,
It is just a suggestion box ( tool )
It will offer up all kinds of thoughts and scenarios. That's it's job.
3)

But in no way does that mean that the mind is unto itself anything smarter than thinking a saw is clever to cut wood.

It has no intrinsic wisdom or awareness, other than to fuction / process info like a computer.
4)

Seeing this level of the mind this way has helped me not to be angry with it.

Thoughts are like clouds in the sky,
we have thousands a day.

They come and go,
just let the shitty ones pass and float away back into the nothingness of where they came from.
Bottom line is we are all worthy and equal.

We all have a right to be here and be part of this journey.

No matter what our " thoughts " try to sometimes tell us we are not.

And whilst the mind attempts to torment us,
claiming " things " are wrong.
( Catastrophic thinking )
Life continues to go on in it's perfect, divine order.

The seasons continue to change,
the Earth continues to orbit the Sun.

The tide comes in, and goes out again.
Stuck in our thoughts,

our minds can take us away from being connected to this natural, divine, perfect flow of life energy.

That's why nature reconnects us,
grounds us. And animals, because they live in that state, of now.
